In all honesty I kinda knew what I was getting into: no hot water and no electricity during the day in exchange of a distant, relaxing and beautiful beach. However, I felt like the price I thought was going to pay was completely off, since they charge you for every "extra". Beach: very nice, but don't think about snorkeling or...

Relax Beach Resort is decent. The bungalow we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Mosquito nets over double and single beds (apparently they charge if you soil your sheets?!?!). The power points/fan, etc are turned on at night only (fair enough, saving power). The beach itself has a bit of a reef infront to snorkel around (you can hire snorkels...

When we arrived I went up to the reception desk and was immediately demanded a payment of 300 baht from the sullen, arrogant French Westerner behind the counter. What a charming welcome. At this I was very disappointed because our guide book said that resorts tend to charge a fee for transport to leave a resort, but include transport to...

Stayed here on 3/1/13 after coming from railay bay and paid a similar price. Waited 50 minutes after getting off the ferry at Phi Phi pier not a good 1st impression. Only stayed for 2 nights (thank god) and was bit at least 63 times (that I could make out) on the hand and elbow after lying on one of...

We went directly to the Relax from Krabi airport after the 12 hour flight from Stockholm. We booked a Beachfront Bungalow and were extremely satisfied from start to finish. We arrived 12:00 at the Tonsai Bay dock and easily found the longtail driver holding the sign Relax Bungalow. Arrival at the Relax was breath-taking! It was way more beautiful in...

Amazing location, fantastic staff, superb food & facilities! Phi phi relax is most suitable for people who like to get involved with the country they are in! It's not a 5 star luxury hotel by any means, however, it is in a beautiful location with modest, safe, comfortable, clean beach huts. You can only reach the resort by boat or...

We have just recently stayed and the place looked amazing on arrival although boat ride getting there was about 30 uncomfortable mins . All crammed in after waiting nearly an hour for a boat to collect us from phi phi pier. Idyllic location but never worth the money! We were in B1 which was a beachfront bungalow. Our sheets were...

We spend there 3 nights in the bungalow with fan. The place has really nice and calm beach. It's far from the TonSai Bay but it has an adventage - calm. The restaurant was good quality but a little bit expensive (we heard there is a little village nearby where you can eat local and cheep). The only think we...

It was a relief to finally get to the Phi Phi Relax Resort after a very rough 30 min boat ride (we were not reassured by one of the boatman grabbing a life jacket for himself during the trip- not enough for all passengers!). Several passengers cut themselves on the sharp rock when leaving the boat and were tended to...

Phi Phi is (sadly) for partying. To relax, there are better islands. But if you are short of time and want to chill out on Phi Phi, then this is probably your best bet. This resort is pretty, well managed and friendly enough, but it is overpriced compared to elsewhere - and this is compounded by the restaurant which you...
