We have just spent 3 nights at this fabulous hotel and had a great time. The room on 2 levels was very well equipped and spacious and an excellent size. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in on our travels. The staff are very helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They hired scooters and...

I was on the Island for three days, slept in this hotel for two days and I have nothing to say! Everything is perfect (hot shower, FANTASTIC VIEW!, nice rooms). It is a little bit more expensive but worth every bath!! The pool is great, very calm, A/C and wifi for free. The cliff is somenthing, but we were two...

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and really loved it. Like others we didnt think that the hill could be quite that bad, but it really is. It seriously takes it out of you, and taxis charge quite a bit extra to drive up it. However, as everyone also says, you cant get such a beautiful view without the...

Ok ok the 'HILL' yes it is steep, yes its hot BUT you don't get awesome views without height on your side. We are a couple that has just turned 30 and not particularly athletic and we survived just fine! Take it slow its only 200m long tops and if all else fails get a taxi! Plus the hotel will...

We saw the reviews of this hotel and thought that the hill would not be that bad...but it was. It was particularly hot when we were there and this made the hill even worse. So, no problem right? Just take a taxi up it. The issue was that we rarely had occassion to take taxis and we weren't too steady...

We stayed 3 nights at Chintakiri resort in a bungalow with a balcony with a beautiful view over Chalok Ban Kao. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good(excluding the plain breakfast) and the resort is overall in good condition. There is a small swimming pool overlooking the bay, very nice to relax in and take in...

Rooms (all villas) are fantastic, views are incredible, staff was great. Breakfast and food in general was good, and the drink menu is big! Overpriced it is not, true there's cheaper accommodation on the island, but you get what you pay for. And Chintakiri delivers everything that was expected. Do not even take the advice of people complaining about gecko...

I booked a room at Chintakiri based on the great reviews I read on Tripadvisor. I was, however, unpleasantly surprised when I got to the place. First of all, the location is TERRIBLE. It is far away from Sairee Beach, the best place in Ko Tao, and you have to go up a steep hill, for which taxis charge extra...

We stayed at this hotel with 2 children of age 3 and 8 months and it was a nice stay. The staff was very friendly and serviceminded eventhough their English is quite poor. The food in restaurant was good and wellflavoured. The breakfast is also wellprepared and a la carte so no flies buzzing around and everything freshmade. The view...

We stayed at this hotel motivated by the good reviews it has on tripadvisor. The reality (at least for us) was very different from what we saw here: - Rooms and hotel facilities are dated. - Our room was infested with geckos (around seven of them, making loud noises at night), we had to get the hotel staff to take...
