This is a great little place. We ate there most days. Friendly derive, good local Thai food, good cocktails. Closes at 8 depending on customers. Don't be deterred by the lack of patrons (westerners) it is great! I highly recommend paying them a visit:)

We actually struggled quite a bit when looking for accommodation on Koh Tao. We opted for Sairee beach in the end, but really struggled to find a balance between top end luxury, and being forced to stay at a dive school. Thankfully we stumbled across Palm Leaf only a matter of days before we arrived (although the fact that it...

I'm a 24 year old female and I decided to go diving upon arrival. I got upgraded from a standard bungalow to a villa room. I wish I hadn't been upgraded as the bungalows were closer to the beach, looked nice and my room was at the back and the path was a tiny bit steep and dark. The room...

By boyfriend and I have visited the Palm Leaf for 4 nights in the middle of April. The bungalows are defiantly an amazing place to stay, we very much enjoyed the trip to Koh Tao and staying in such a beautiful place made it even better. The first night we stayed at the 2000 bht room. Very clean and good bathroom. Free water in the fridge. Great hospitality. The other nights we stayed in the 700 bht room. Very basic but clean. No aircon and fridge in the basic bungalow. The two women of the reception are of great help and always smiling and happy. The...

Upon deciding to travel to Koh Tao, we wasnt originally planning on pre-booking but i am so glad we did. Palm Beach (not to be confused with Bo Thong), was just perfect. The lady on reception was extremely helpful with everything we needed, including booking our ferry and taxi service. The location was prefect, it was close enough to the...

I stayed at this hotel on the days before christmas, The journey to the hotel was rocky so arrived feeling rather under the weather, the breath taking views on the way to the hotel in the car that had been sent to pick us up from the port instanly healed my sickness. Arrived to the hotel to hear that my...

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The staff are friendly and helpful, my room seemed to be one of the newer ones which had a massive bed- easily could have slept 4 people in it. It is right on the beach towards the far end, perfect since you don't have all the action from the tail-boats/ferries. The water...

I stayed at this resort three years ago when it was still Bow Thong and absolutely loved it but have to say, I didn't enjoy my stay anywhere near as much this time around. The staff are still absolutely lovely and the location is still nice but the rooms were disappointing. They're fairly basic and definitely kept very clean but...
