This may just be the most comprehensive review this resort has ever had, for the simple reason that we were travelling in a group of 12 and have booked all bungalows they have plus one higher category room. This was my third stay at Ko Tao resort, and I have previously rated it quite well. However this resort has so...

Although the rooms were a little tired, especially the bathrooms which left a lot to be desired, the hotel is in a good beachfront location. Pool area is lovely and restaurant food was fine You can use the facilities at the sister "paradise" resort at the top of the hill. Complimentary transport is provided and I recommend the restaurant terrace...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Upon arrival we were blown away with the location. It was on a quiet stretch of beach with crystal blue waters and white sand. We had spent a long time when booking trying to decifer the accommodation types but we decided to opt for a beach zone room. We were glad we...

Payed 1700 THB a night for an a/c bungalow - upon arrival the reception staff informed us we would need to move to a deluxe room half way through our stay. Ok not a problem. After being in our bungalow for half an hour LARGE RED ANTS started appearing everywhere on the floor and even in our bed. We were...

While hotel is on a quite beach the rest of the stay left a lot to be desired! We stayed in a bungalow which was dirty with dust, old, smelly, dirty sheets and the bathroom was old with something splatted all over the walls! The infinity pool is a lot smaller than they show with barely any sunbeds ( probably...

My friend and I stayed fro fire nights at Ko Tao resort in March/April 2012 in the Superior room in the Paradise zone. Firstly, please be aware that there are two sections of this hotel. the Beach zone, on the beach as the name would suggest and the Pardise Zone which is across the road and up a very steep...

Ko Tao Resort is a lovely hotel, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were lovely. Made up very quickly while we went to breakfast every day! We stayed in the paradise zone, which I believe was the best of the two. The beach zone has alot more facilities, but the hotel supplies a shuttle between the two every...

Lovely small hotel in lovely Chalok Bay. Chalok is a southern secured bay of Tao, about 5 minutes drive from Mae Haad pier. It's small and quiet but has enough restaurants, massage points and 7-Eleven store. The hotel is good enough to be recommended. It has own small beach and one of the loveliest pools I've ever seen. Don't forget...

We stayed at the Ko Tao Resort when they first open the 2nd complex up the hill. The décor is classic resort, a bit too cheesy for our taste. The room is nothing special, but the hotel it has amazing view of the two beaches from its hilltop vantage point. The pools (one serpentine, one infinity) also have great views...
