We are chiefly a budget guest house with 9 chalet bungalows (some en-suite) and one large house (suitable for groups of 12) within easy walking distance of the centre of Pai just off the Maehi Road and close to Fluid Swimming Pool. Running water through our garden ensures a lush green atmosphere throughout the year. We hope to be the choice of independent budget travellers looking for a convenient location for their stay in Pai.

A nice place about 10 minutes walk from the main part of Pai. Very friendly owners. They have a fridge at reception which sells water etc and cheap beer. A large Chang is only 65 Baht. I had a budget single room. The room was clean but looking a little worn. There are 3 power sockets. The fan works well and that's all you should need in Pai most of the year. Pai is cooler than Chiang Mai by about 5 or 6C. The shower had warm water. There's a desk and a stool inside. You can sit outside your own bungalow but there's also a stone table with chairs too in the garden. The place was quiet and the owners request that you make no loud noises after 9:30pm which is a definite plus. Hint : as with any places on the riverside of Pai, if you return home at night, make sure you have a torch or are wearing white as there's no pavement so it's a good idea to be visible but it's a nice easy walk. The wifi works well. I would have stayed a 2nd night but they were full.

Had a lovely stay at Rainbow, rooms are basic and very simple however it was all we needed. Short walk to town, hot shower and nice surroundings to read a book or have a cup of tea.. Noy was a very lovely host!!! Only feedback is decor in the rooms could be updated however for the price we paid we were happy. Thank you xxx

We stayed for one night in the house and were really impressed about the size of the room. It was bigger than we expected. The staff was super friendly ordered a several times a taxi for us because we had to leave at 5 in the morning.

On arrival we had introductions with the owner Noi who was very friendly and helpful. The bungalow was very comfy and the location was beautiful. It is a short walk from the centre which seems longer with a backpack but around 5 minutes or so. The shared bathrooms were cleaned daily and a change of shoes/flip flops were provided when going to the bathroom which meant they remained clean throughout our stay! We booked extra days as we liked it that much. Would 100% recommend, excellent value for money!!

Rainbow house is a lovely resort in Pai. The cottages are a very good price, overlooking the mountains with a hammock provided outside the room which was a lovely touch. The price we paid was so good! Only thing that didn't merit the room being 5 stars was be fact the fan in the room wasn't very good. The staff where very welcoming and friendly!
