This hotel has the potential to be really nice but it would appear standards have slipped since low occupancy. We checked in for a 3 night stay but left after 2. We had a family room which was a great size but it was a little grubby and not well cleaned. The bed was really hard and the hotel could not offer a bed topper I had to use a spare duvet from the second room to make it bearable. The outside area was totally unusable as it was covered in dirt and the seat pads were stained and rusty had never been lifted or cleaned and had clearly been left out for a long time not looked after. The whole place was covered in cobwebs including the fans and light fixtures just evidence of poor maintenance. The breakfast was limited but acceptable however I ordered a banana waffle and there was no banana to be seen and no explanation. In the restaurant one night we were ignored by a member of staff not sure if they could speak English or Thai as we tried both languages but the service was lacking. I had friends in another room who had to move twice as the first room had no water and the second room had no lights. The shower heads both came flying off when used actually quite dangerous and again the hotel did not offer a room change or upgrade. They had paid for an extra bed for their son the hotel had forgot and the bed they arranged was clearly pulled out of storage and covered in cobwebs. We booked the hotel 3 weeks in advance and I just feel they had enough time to prepare for our arrival despite their being less tourists. I really wanted to love this hotel but they need a thorough deep clean of all areas and some general maintenance and upkeep or sadly they will struggle to recover at all from the issues caused by COVID. I understand the financial pressures but I think even high quality maintenance and cleaning in the few rooms that are being booked would make it stand more chance of recovery. Currently it is way below acceptable for a 4* hotel…
This was my second visit to this hotel and I was not disappointed. The same high standards of service and facilities remained and U thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The manager was particularly helpful and offered advice about excursions, bike rental and food choices fir breakfast. I will be back.
Nice bungalow type accommodation, arranged in blocks with two upper and two lower rooms in each unit laid out around a nice, modern style, swimming pool. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre (10 mins ish) but there is shuttle bus. Nice food, cheap as well. The rooms have all the amenities one would expect in a western style property.
Stayed here in November of 2019, beautiful affordable hotel. They give you free Roselle juice which is a local juice'plant in that area, its awesome ! Room was spacius and very clean, very nice shower and bathroom, it was quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice, breakfast was incredible, Thai foor and western food always stocked ! Only about a 5 min walk to central Pai town. Will definelty stay here again when visiting Pai
My partner and I stayed in the Quarter early Feb this year and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our room was faultless, the pool was lovely (although a bit cold) and it was in the perfect location. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the wonderful town of Pai.
