The GH location is perfect - walking distance to the center, foods, markets, railways, songteo and whatever you may need. Clean, cheap and nice. The owners are very nice family. We stayed 3 nights and everything was just fine.

So why not EXCELLENT? Because the only thing was the internet connection in our room. That was weak because her router is in the...

The host held a room for us and then also helped us arrange our onward travel. Clean and good hot showers. Quiet for good rest. Easy walk to sites--museums, markets and temples. Close to train station. Rates good: with fan 350baht for double; 450 with a/c.

The hotel has very simple (AC) rooms with hard beds but our room was clean (for Thailand). The Wifi password was given to us without problems. With its central, quiet location and good price we can recomment it for people who spend their days outside.

A small guest house, conveniently situated about 10 minutes' walk from the station, and tucked away behind the main street around a small yard. The entrance lobby which looked welcoming and cosy, belied the actual reception we got. Although we had booked by phone, the message hadn't been passed on. The staff were unfriendly and were never available or on...
