The location was extremely convenient. A 5 minute walk to the entrance of the historical park. There were not many food options available around the place. However, there were a number of little restaurants on the historical grounds near some tourist shopping which had some of the best pad thai so far. The staff at this place were not very...

Quiet and clean and priced properly. Right next to the park entrance is advantageous in 40+C heat. Set back from the main road means it has a distinct advantage over most lodgings situated right on the main road. Prices in Sukhothai are elevated for food, lodgings and gifts so it was reassuring to find rooms at the real place.

Great prices for one of the nearest guest houses to the Sukhothai Historical Park. This long-standing backpacker favourite offers decent rooms at affordable prices with or without hot water and AC. The proprietors don't speak much English and can appear diffident but are very helpful.

We had a double room with fan and hot water bathroom. The room was very big and really clean and quiet. The rooms are well back from the road and there is plenty of space for parking as well as a few tables and chairs outside for socialising with other guests. The guesthouse is 5 mins walk from the Historic...

We luckily got a room in old house I really wanted (250 thb). We didnt pre-booking, just walking early morning and owner said to wait to 11 a.m. to get a room. Some reviews say that owner is rude/not caring but I found him only to being himself. Honestly he was very serious and cold looking and reminded me a...

Wide range of rooms - I have been there twice. First time I stayed in more expensive, air-conditioned room, with hot water in the new building. Second time I stayed in cheaper room in old, couple of hundred years old building with cold water only and no air con. Both clean, with good wi-fi and comfortable beds. Location - Guesthouse...

A first look at the photos seemed to be quite scummy so I first walked into Vitoon guesthouse which is just next door. There I got offered an okay room for 300B but I didn't really like it. So I went to Old City Guesthouse and was shown a spacious clean fan cooled double room with a big bathroom and...

Cheap and affordable and the rooms are great whether backpacking or holidaying. Perfect for everyone and close to where the historical park is. Just walk around the corner and hire a push bike for around 250baht for the whole day. I cycled round the lot in a day and was happy with that but can easily be spread over two....

This is one of the few accommodations in the old city. The guesthouse is composed by some one-floor buildings with a open air are in the middle with tables and the parking area. Rooms are very simple with a/c and bathroom. Sincerely it's not good if you are looking for a first class accommodation. Breakfast not included, some restaurants right...

“I stayed at the double room with A/C for 400THB/night. However, those mosquitos were eating me alive. :( I suggest you take the room with fan, charges 200 THB/night. And I heard that there were no mosquitos there.”
