This is just a fantastic boutique hotel in the old district. It is an old building beautifully converted, with several enclosed courtyards, one of which you have an excellent breakfast served to you. The staff are exceptionally helpful. The room we started in on the second floor was of a reasonable size with a massive double bed. The water was...

My partner and I stayed recently in Minzifa during our tour of central Asia. Since the USSR collapse there are a lot of small unique hotels that have set up rather than the big luxury hotels. This is hidden in narrow streets about 5 minutes walk from the main streets and restaurants of Bukhara. It is set up round a...

The hotel only accepts cash payment. Either you have to pay in dollars, or shockingly the hotel manager charges you Som at the illegal black market exchange rate. We had exchanged dollars for Som at the official (and legal) rate of 1D=3000 Som, whereas the hotel manager wanted us to pay 1D=6200 Som. Thus the hotel doubles its profits on...

Stunning hospitality, I did not travelled as much as some of other people, but I believe few even 5* hotel can offer such an home-like atmosphere. Wifi is nice speed. Good breakfast without much of greasy meals. Very clean rooms with good sized bathes. Excellent staff ready to help all time. Excellent place to stay!

Stayed here for two nights and loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was great. The room was beautilfully decorated and there's a great courtyard with big old clay vases. Free wi-fi and they also have a tour agency that can arrange anything. It's about a five minute walk to Lyabi-Hauz and another five to the fantastic...

Highly recommend a stay at Minzifa if you're visiting Bukhara. Location is good 5 minutes walk to the lyabi hauz and all the main restaurants, and around 10-15 minute walk to the Kalon mosque. Hotel has lots of charm (see photo attached) Service is excellent. Staff offered lots of tips for avoiding getting overcharged and bargaining for goods. Breakfast was...

I cannot say enough about Minzifa and the 2 sisters Norgis and Firangiz and administrator Nasiruddin who run this place. They are the friendliest lot and make you feel like you have arrived home (a beautiful and extremely comfortable one). Enough has been said about their gorgeous rooms with ghanch and traditional wall paintings, ikat bedspreads and curtains and various...

Anyone can live like an Emir at this boutique hotel in the old city. The extremely attentive manager can arrange superb tours for about $40 a day (we liked Shovkat), and go above and beyond in all other arrives too. You can have a massage in your room, and the staff is eager to help with room service any time....

It's hard to believe this hotel is only ten years old. The interiors of two houses in the old town were demolished to make this one lovely hotel in the old style. We took two rooms at the Minzifa for our family of four - a wonderful little hotel. Beautiful cool rooms, perfect for Bukhara's warm days, lovely breakfasts (different each day) - arranged when you want them - on specially laid out tables in the cool morning air in the courtyard.
