This is one of the 2 latest Accor properties in Vung Tau. I personally think it should be rated as 4 stars at least by local tourism standard. iBis styles has always famous for its colorful, modern design and this hotel can be 1 of their flagship. The room is nice, not too tight like other iBis, AC working really well, bed is comfortable and only downside maybe the firm pillows. Rooftop swimming pool is highlight, unless when it surrounded by 20 kids, a nice place to chill and have a bird-eye view of Vung Tau's back beach. There are some points for improvement though: 1. Priority guest check-in: no reminder of member benefits such as late check out, welcome drinks was offered. Only told me when i asked if i got upgrade, late check out and welcome drinks. 2. No towel provided for guests going to the beach. When i asked, receptionist was kind enough to get me the normal bath towel. 3. No private beach area for guests 4. Not hotel fault but please try to avoid weekend, the swimming pool is nice but rather small and there were at least 20 yelling kids in the swimming pool in the afternoon. On our check-out date, we went to buy some fresh oysters at seafood market and since there was no place to eat at market, we decided to take away. Acknowledge that we could get fine eating seafood in room, we walked to the park opposite the hotel. Just before we opened our meal box, we got kicked out by security as no food was allowed in public locations and had to walked back to our hotel. I asked the restaurant staff if we could sit outside and have quick meal and was also denied. Fortunately, Tin restaurant manager, sorted things out so we can have our meal at a quiet place in lobby where we enjoyed our welcome drinks. Overall, i think this is a decent place to stay and still can improve.

This month I was exhauted beacuse of heavy workload so I decided to have a short trip to recharge the battery. Additionally, I am really keen on enjoying every single moment of my holliday near a white sandy beach with a perfect hotel. On Hung King festival, I went to Ibis Style Vung Tau and I would have to say it was worth to have my holliday here. The very first thing that made me supprised is the design of the hotel. the colors are so warm and just like there is someone whispering to my ear "make yourself at home". The single room I booked had a bird-eye view to the sea. That time, I even thought that if only I had been able to stop the time so that I could live in that moment and just let my hair down. The next thing is about the staff. They showed me that they were well-trained and professional. Even though it was extremely crowded then, I did not find any troubles there. (of course I do know it was just from my observation) The third one must be about "environmentally-friendly". Every room was not equiped with available personal hygine kit. However, we could ask them for these things when being in need. The amount of plastic stuffs was under control in order to ensure the least of them to be used. (Actually, I knew Ibis Styles Vung Tau through Facebook when I accidentally saw a picture of cleaning up the seashore of the staff there. I really appriciate it) Last but not least, the price of the room was reasonable ( or even you can say it is cheap). In a nutshell, Ibis Styles Vung Tau will always be my choice for my trip in the future. Hope that they can develop more so that we customers are able to enjoy far more brilliant experience just like that. Thank you.

I was in Ibis Style VT with my family and we had a great time there. The FO team ( especially Mr Sơn ) is very friendly and helpful. The building is recently built so all of the furniture and equipments are nice and clean. The room is spacious for a family of 3 people, my room has an excellent sea view. Fair and no added service value. Affordable service should be improved in the standard price range.
The hotel is new, located across the beach and central of everything. The interior and exterior equipment is new and well equipped . Lovely decor standard room. The space is so small that there is no space between the cabinets, the bed, the coffee table, the sofa table because they are close together. High quality bed, clean linens and towels. All room amenities are neat and fully equipped. The bathroom is large enough for 2 adults using at the same time, good condition of hot and cold water , a dryer right at the sink is very convenient. The wardrobe is compact but holds a lot of things. Having swimming pool, gym, restaurant, children's playground is a big plus. The strong point is the reasonable price for room product with full hotel facilities.
Walking in hotel on a quiet Sunday ‘s afternoon whether not high volume of traveller to reserve the standard room and get the offer from the reception. The receptionist told me directly book standard room have free upgrade to sea-view but I don’t believe it happened. Why? The lowest price as I was told at reception for standard is 1,8mil which is exactly the same on Agoda for sea-view room. The standard on Agoda is 1,5mil Vnd. Then I just process with Agoda with a few tap. Paying the same amount for the same product and avoid thinking that the front desk is trying to help you.
What is the added value or feel more ? Or they just limit customer experience while other hotels are trying give to encourage customers for their next arrival.
Yeah .. for sure there is no free upgrade even they have at the beginning. That’s how affordable and cheap price hotel work.

About the room rate was different from the Hotel and Agoda, because Agoda have the promotion by itself to sell the room as much as they can and their promotion is lower price than the public rate of the hotel. The Front office team also have the offer by the team that you will have a free upgrade if you book directly at the hotel. We can not give you an offer from Agoda but we can offer as hotel promotion such as: upgrade, late check out, early check in (all of this must be subject to availability). When you book a room via Agoda you already took the promotion from Agoda and we can not offer more for your stay. However we will recorded this situation and improve our service for your next stay. I went on a low budget trip & chose this Accor hotel as I know it's cost-saving hotel with adequate quality, generally. But the actual stay experience far exceeded my original expectation! The hotel is located just in the heart of the city & just a few walk to the beach. Room & bed was very comfortable with nice view to the sea, even though my accommodation was just a standard room type. I had a lot of natural light in the room & could even open the top windows for fresh air if I wanted to. However, my most memorable experience was with the hotel staffs.The Operator was super professional & experienced. The reservation lady was very caring & mindful. But on top of that the reception team was a really WOW! They predicted my needs & responded quickly, they do remember my face & room number. The hotel was crowed on weekend but they still patiently spent a lot of time instructing me even on minor things. Genuine hospitality & professionalism that I only expect at a 5 stars level. A note is that hotel check in hour is 3pm & check out time is 11am, quite different to my common sense but I think it's popular in Vung Tau due to this city's specific nature of weekend occupancy. So just mind the hour a bit while planning your activities here. My only contribution is that the hotel can prepare some eco-plastic bags for amenities cause a lot of people may not prepare plastic bags for their wet clothes upon check out. We just travel & leave our brains at home. Will I return to this hotel for the next time? Definitely!

The hotel itself is nice with funky colors and youthful decoration. Its location is also very convenient with the beach is right across the street. However, the beach is public so it's crowded and dirty. The breakfast is alright with a lot of options but they all taste a bit bland. Some amenities such as water kettle, door knob were broken. ACs and TVs are confusing to navigate. It's also a bit annoying to have to ask for bathroom amenities because it's a part of their eco-friendly campaign so they won't have those ready in the room for you. Some staff such as the parking guard and bell boys were friendly and helpful. Some others such as receptionists and the pool staffs are not so much. The first receptionist we dealt with was cold, rude, and unwelcoming. The pool staff just stood there and did nothing to help. For example, they could have given us towels when we arrived but they just awkwardly stared at us. We had to come and ask for the towels. One more thing, I find it’s quite ridiculous when the family room is only meant for 2 adults. The family room has a queen bed and a bunk bed (a twin bed size), which could perfectly fit a group of 4 in there but they still made us book another room because the family room is “2-adults” only. This hotel isn't meant for friends-travelling groups i guess.

The ibis Styles Vung Tau experience for us started with location, ambiance and creative decor. We had a sea view room which was beautiful, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. Our family have just had an amazing stay at the Ibis Hotel. This is the best hotel in Vung Tau, not only because of the state of the art facilities, well appointed room, painstaking views of the Sea View but the excellent service we experienced from the doormen to the receptionists, All are so well-trained and they did the best they could to make us feel welcome and happy. First day when we arrived at the hotel, the security guard guided us to the parking area with an unfriendly posture, he handled our bags with an inappropriate manner (put our bags on other’s luggage and let it fell out). That day was quite crowded so we lined up and waited for checking-in. The receptionist (who wore an apple watch with white watch chain) saw us but he was just only keep looking at us. When we asked why he took no action, he stepped out and assigned his colleague (Ms. Thu) to help us. Although we had paid everything, and we saw the note on our reg card “this booking is paid by cc with the amount of...” but she not even checked that information, which made us annoyed. She gave us an unpleasant look when asked her why we have to provide our payment information while you already had it. When she gave us the key. We asked for the latest check-out time (with fees), she gave us an unclear answer, when we asked for details she quite unhappy and keep repeating the answer. Room and location is good. However, we not even saw a smile (except for the guy at the roof top bar) while their uniform showed the ‘SMILE’ attitude during our stay.

You can’t go wrong with Ibis Styles Vung Tau and all other Accor hotels in South East Asia. Customer service was good. My family was able to check-in early and assisted nicely with all of our requests. Lunch at the Streats Restaurant was pretty good as well, thumb up for the kids room where my 2 years old could enjoy while we were eating. Our best regard from Room 823 and 825z
