This place was really nice. With the breeze and very relaxing vibes, WOW i really want to come back here. Spacious huge lobby, very nice pool specially the pool bar. With a white sand beach and a very friendly staff. At night it was really nice to hangout at the bar.

Have been staying in this hotel couple of times. Recent stay was nice with the newly refurbished room, big and clean. Free bus to bring you to nearby kelong restaurant for seafood dinner (they have set menu for 2 but price have went up a bit, ~S$100+. The pool is my fav cos facing the sea nearby, very relaxing n with pool bar. Bf is authenic Indonesia selection plus international spread. They also provide free shuttle bus to pasar ole ole outside, with few eatery, restaurant n shops, small place, come only if u got time to spare cos last visit in 2013, most shops closed down. There a couple of good cheap spa behind this plc walking distance around 10 min. You can call the spa from hotel, they will send car to pick u up n return free. Massage at facility centre also provide good massage but with partition room w curtain, less privacy. There is a mini zoo behind hotel where kids can visits. Beach is sandy white n span a vast distance. Nice for a dip if weather permit. Always go for the air rifle shooting, fun and only S$8. Bowling also a good choice. Can also rent bicycle to tour the plc. Sea sports, gym n tours are also available. Hotel even have pedicure n manicure services n hair saloon. Overall, a great plc for a relaxing getsaway from city stress.

Had a 5 days trip to Nirwana Gardens with the family, as a side trip from Singapore. Our Singapore family thought we were crazy going for so long, but as all the kids wanted to do was swim in the pool and make sandcastles on the beach this was perfect way for us all to unwind !
Restaurants are pricey and of course you are "trapped" in the resort - though the other resorts are all accessible they are all pricey.

Room was nice and looks to have been recently refurbished. Some of the pool area's could do with some maintenance but no other major complaints.

Wow! What a major disappointment after staying here years ago. I though it would be as good as I remembered though I was sadly mistaken. Just like the last review I read below - everything is charged through the roof especially food and drinks plus there's nowhere else to go except the hotel's properties ! Play areas are dangerous and falling apart. Definitely no happy hour, wifi is crap and stay far away unless you want to get screwed. I really hope management reads this and makes some serious changes for 2020.

Bintan island itself is a beautiful destination, easily accessible, I caught the hourly boat from Singapore and that was no hassle. The hotel/resort has many great features, the food was lovely, the staff were kind and the room was a good size, with a balcony. The main feature of this hotel is that there are many activities to do in the close vicinity of the hotel. I booked a massage at the front desk and rather than having me walk for all of five minutes, they got a taxi to lift me there. Not only is it built by the shore, Nirwana has a fantastic swimming pool, with an infinity edge to relax up against, drinking whatever you have purchased from the pool bar which is literally in the pool. Only fault I could pick with it are although we had a fresh bottle of water every time we got back to the room, the minibar was never stocked. Fantastic trip, 100% would go again

The hotel is relatively new and quite close to the shopping areas in Tanjung Pinang, and it is also just a short walk away from Rimba supermarket and 999 Pasar Malam.

The rooms are quite big and spacious. Suites have a bath tub and mini fridge, while a standard rooms do not. The shower was a bit of a problem and the water for the tub was hot but when it was routed to the shower head, it couldn't get hot enough.

Try get the second floor as there is no elevator, and there is a outdoor cafe on the second floor that is great just to spot stars in the night sky. Room came with breakfast and a free 30-minute massage. The breakfast had a really small selection of fried noodles, fried rice, porridge, toast and eggs along with drinks.

It is no beach in sight and I did not spot a pool. Reviews about a resort are definitely not about this hotel and most likely talking about Bintan Nirwana Resort.

was deeply dissapointed to see solidified chunks of petrol-when the sea resides around 2.30 pm-about 6 meters in- right in front of the massage parlour, near the big rock in the sea.( right hand side in the beach, by the tilted coco tree).

an area of about 10 meters by 5 meters is full of old solidified petrol chunks under the sea bed, when you step on it is slimey and smelly, that really put everyone off and the management should REALLY CLEAN THIS AREA thoroughly , after the big oil spill they had in the island some time ago.

stuff is very friendly, breakfast is ok.
building can do with a bit of repainting , more maintenance and revamp as its an old establishment.

basketball area at pool is ALL BROKEN RIMS, and there is a NOISY RUSTY ROOF FAN AT THE POOL BAR ready to fall off ( putting many bathers off)

KIDS PLAYGROUND WAS TOTALLY BROKEN UP , RUSTY PARTS protruding, and lightly sealed off with a plastic tape , but still some kids were crawling under and using it , which was really dangerous.

bowling free tickets is a scam as they charge you for the shoes once you get there!

and NO AIRCON IN THE KIDS PLAY AREA OR BOWLING MALL!
how can the kids enjoy it???

zip line was shut at 3.00 pm with no reason given.

water bottle 6$!
pool table 9$ an hour.
massages at 45$ per hour.

so a budget place maybe... but you end up paying a lot more if you get playfull or thirsty.

all our friends were quite dissapointed ESPECIALLY WITH THE BEACH and we truly hope the management can notify the REPAIRS team to fix all these concern
areas.

We stayed in this hotel from 26 July 2019 till 28 July 2019. We chose this hotel as we were going to motorbike offroad from a shop nearby. I intend at first to give this hotel 3 stars but with the money i paid i can't fault it as a budget hotel. It looks decent and my only real complain is that no lift in the hotel and we stayed on the 4th floor. Basic room with toiletries, air-con, TV , Wifi ~ Most of the hotel staff are polite and helpful. We order number of room service etc.

This is quite an affordable & nice place to stay with spacious rooms & good services provided by the hotel staff. The only problem is there is no lift in the hotel.

Special thanks to the reception staff Dessy for trying her best to help us (even though fully booked) to arrange for change of rooms as we had elderly folks who have difficulty climbing staircase.

Will consider coming back to this hotel again for future visit...
