We choose this hotel upon a friend's recommendation. We wanted a quiet place with beaches for our children. And boy, what a good choice that proved to be! First the place itself: very beautiful, we felt as we were in paradise. We loved that place from the very minute we arrived there. The food was very good, the staff friendly....

Yes, the beach looks beautiful but there are no fish to be seen, nothing in the water but sea urchins, so snorkeling is pointless. We hoped to see some birds but there were very few, no shorebirds at all, and in four days we saw only two terns flying by. Bungalow was ok but the septic tank needed emptying. Food...

This a wonderful place to stay some time! Ask for a beach front bungalow and you will enjoy the view of the whales passing by (I'm not kidding!) just on your doorstep! The staff is very friendly and the meals delicious! We will come back again and stay for longer!

We ended our trip of Madagascar at Maningory, and with satisfaction. The strongest point of this lodge, is the location - right on the beach, with an amazing view and turquoise water. The rooms had all basic needs - Hot water, toilet, and bed, as well as electricity every evening. Situated on the Isle aux Nattes, you have acces to...

A small beach resort set at the remote end of Sante Marie island, on a wonderful beach with its own small hard coral barrier reef. However, the experience was entirely let down by the resort's lack of facilities and the service. The bungalows lacked all comforts and were unbearably hot, without any method of cooling, not even a fan. Each...

This is a very special island. A tiny jewel in the Indian Ocean surrounded by coral. We walked around the entire island in about 4 hours. We met such interesting people and found some very special, exotic places. Hotel Maningory is a little rough, although the beds were comfortable and the food was excellent. I found it hard to sleep...

My boyfriend and I spent 3 blissful nights at Maningory last year. We had the whole place to ourselves! The food was very good, the owner was very friendly. But you do need to speak a little French to get by. Ile Aux Nattes is a tropical Island getaway and is perfect for lovers to relax on the sand.
