nicely placed right from the pirogue arrival; the service is good; bungalows are correct and well maintained even if one of the oldest around it seems; the manager is making an effort to take best care of visitors with a competitive price ...

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying 12 nights on Saint Marie and Ile Aux Nattes. We spent two nights at Baboo Village which was the highlight of our trip! Lazy afternoons were spent Kayaking, which is a must do and probably the best way to see Ile Aux Nattes. The food was amazing, service excellent and all... More

Firstly, you must visit Ile aux Nattes, it's beautiful. And Baboo is a comfortable place with nice surroundings in a convenient location. The owner is French and doesn't speak a word of English, which I think is a little strange for a hotel, but the rest of the staff are friendly and make an effort, especially Roger who was very... Getting there: Most people stay on Saint Marie Island and does a day tour to Ile aux Nattes. This little atoll reef island do not have electricity nor vehicles on the island. You will have to hire a small boat taxi to get to this little island (cost next to nothing) or get the hotel to pick you up, which... More

Baboo is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the tropical island. Richard and and his staff are running the place very well and will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as it can be. We stayed in a bungalow on the edge of the water with a deck looking out over the lagoon. Great... More

It was my first time in Illes aux nates. I went with my family, old parents and young children and the place didn't meet our expectations. The prices we paid -through a travel agency in Tana, not directly to them- were the same that the best 4 stars hotel in Sainte Mairie that is a total luxury. So in terms... More

Arriving on a pirogue (small wooden local boat) we couldn't believe our luck. Sandy White beaches, palm trees, clear water and the stunning setting of Baboo Village. The island is small and has a nice feeling of being remote (it is!!). This is a first class place for people who just want to relax and switch off. It's a million... More

Pierre and his team promise nothing yet deliver everything. Baboo is extremely well run, beautifully maintained the ultimate relax, do nothing, getaway, location. Isle aux Nattes is a tiny island, oblivious to Madagascar politics and almost protected from the outside world by the surrounding coral reef. Visit Baboo if you enjoy simple, unhurried hospitality - dinner comes when it's ready,... More

“Room & Bathroom Pick rooms that face the sea with sundecks. The bathrooms of these rooms are separated and are located a few steps away in a block, only access to you with your room key. I loved the deco of the room and bathroom. See photos. Nice hot shower and water pressure. I had one of my best sleeps in this room. This place is so quite with the distant sound of rolling waves crashing onto the reefs late at night. There is no TV in the rooms. Wake up and watch the sunrise on the deck (see photo). If would be one of the most beautiful sunrise you’ve ever seen.”
