Two flights a day to Sainte-Marie and we get the early one so up at 3.45am for a 6.30am flight. You could get to Antananarivo airport 45 minutes before departure, with hold bags, it is so laid back. Despite being met outside Sainte-Marie airport we still had the usual porter scrum trying to grab hold of our bags. After a...

Cudos for the eco-friendly ethos of the hotel - homemade soap, almost no plastic (except drinking straws - boo). I am reminded of the Alec Baldwin...

On the small Island of St. Marie on the east coast of Madagascar. Friendly with nice staff. The lodges were very nice, romantic close to the beach. Food was magnificent. Took a bicycle tour to the village nearby, very nice. I had the best cheeseburger that I have ever had in my life on Madagascar😊

I did not stay in the Hotel but ate there and the food was very good, especially the ice cream. The location is very nice. The service is also very high compared to many other countries I have visited. My review is more about the SPA. It is an amazing experience that I suggest not to miss. The place is...

The hotel has nice bungalows that iare clean and spacious. But the best thing about them is definately the beach view and the cozy architechture that gives an island atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is brilliant and the restaurant/pool area is great both at night and during the day. The hotel supports research in the coral reefs and snorkeling...

What a wonderful place! The hotel is close to the airport so the transfers are very quick but there are only a couple of flights a day so the incoming planes are completely unobtrusive.
