We ate here dying our stay on Tioman. The staff are helpful, friendly and smiley. The restaurant is run by a family. Their fish dishes are amazing. I had fish sambal and also the garlic fried fish. They also do an excellent BBQ. The rice and noodle dishes are equally good and the portions are generous. Good range of juices too.

Small and on the quiet end of the beach (no cars!). We absolutely loved our stay here. The snorkel trip offered by the Chalet was the best snorkeling I've ever done, which to this days is difficult to believe. They picked us up and dropped us off at the wharf. Coming to Tioman was our favorite part of Malaysia and I think this was one of the best places to stay. English is spoken.

This chalet on the end of the beach below the cliff/forest is an idilyc retreat for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a hut on the beach, with nice beds, clean bathrooms, and aircon, all you need really! The food wasnt the best but it was much the same island-wide. Tioman is one of the best snorkeling locations ive ever been to and that was a big draw for us.

ABC bungalows are at the far side of the village, beside the equally lovely bamboo hill bungalows, both looking out into the beautiful beach and stunning sea. A little stream flows between planted with flowers and trees. The little bridge leads into the jungle. ABC have a variety of bungalows ranging from simple cheaper ones at the back with fans and no direct beach view to the 4 at the front all with air con. We stayed in no 4 which was set slightly back from the beach at the side of the bridge . It’s beauty was being beside the flowers and butterflies of the stream to its left. But We decided to go change half way through our week to no 1 which was directly on the beach . It was stunning but we tended to be bitten more there I think. Basically you have to wear insect repellent and cover up at dusk. The rooms are large with a double and a single bed. The bathrooms are large with good powerful showers and everything is really clean. You are next to the restaurant but not close enough to disturb you at all. A major plus is there is no alcohol served there so it’s really relaxed . (You can by alcohol in the non-Muslim dive shop bars further along nearer the jetty) We stayed in first week in October which is just getting to the start of Monsoon so things were quiet and winding down . We went out on two snorkeling trips which were FANTASTIC. Our boat captain was really lovely, helpful and very friendly. There is beautiful coral to explore right there in front of the bungalows and I seen ray, barracuda, and giant lumpheaded parrotfish there as well as hundreds of tropical fish . So if you want a relaxed holiday in nature this is it.…

Great place to stay, clean, tidy and right on the beach. What more could you want! The food was good also. Reccomend here for some perfect relaxation time. Boats available to go snorkeling and exploring. Stunning island.

We booked a chalet sea view, and we enjoyed it fully. Very clean chalet, cozy and confortable, with fan and A/C, nice bathroom, kettle and fridge. Beautiful small terrace with 2 wooden chairs and a small table, and two hangers for drying our wet clothes. The hotel is actually in a garden which is beautifully taken care of. The personnel is very kind and ready to help. Maybe the beach is nicer at the other end of the bay, but the stay makes up for it, and everything in Air Batang is in walking distance anyway. We would definetely go back and we recommend it.

One of my favorite on the island for a better portion. The sea food rice or noodles are excellent. The service is with a smile and you have a great view of the sunset by the beach from the sitting area

But if you put that fact out of your mind, this place is just standart. The family who runs the place is nice. And the chalets and the restaurant are ok. but there are a few downsides as well. For example they don't serve alcohol, which wouldn't be so bad if they just had let me put my beer I bought before in their fridge. The beds are just sooo haard, it is not easy to sleep well on them. Also they make closing hours as they like to. I reccomend you to bring your own moskito net. Prices are ok.

Its a peaceful and relaxing place to stay if you dont want to use a lot of money. The chalets are OK but there is no ac, only a fan, so it gets a bit hot inside. The beach is pretty good, you can rent snorkelgear and just swim around the corner of the beach you will find some corals and many types of fish. We at least had a pleasent stay at abc.

Both the hotel and restaurant are great and located at a quite place at the end of the beach. We stayed in the fan bungalow as a aircon on the beach. The simple food at the restaurant is fresh, okay priced. All people working around the place are friendly and lovely.
