Detailed Reviews
Location is perfect, walking distance from jetty (About 2 mins walk).
Room is spacious with 2 queen beds, and comes with balcony. Hot shower and strong water flow. Decent beds. Safe is available in rooms too. Some noise from room above can be heard sometimes (walking noise).
Restaurant : Ocean Bliss (Chinese) food is decent and fast service and large portion too. Buffet breakfast not too many choices but still ok. Had black pepper crab for dinner and that was great too.
Wifi : ConnectMeNow works great even from room towards back. RM10 for 1GB.
Went kayaking to the far right island, rented for RM40 for 2 pax kayak per hour. Great views and soft sands, highly recommend.
Overall : Basic hotel, decent service and rooms. No faults except for no free wifi. Will return.

Came here with a grp of 10. Friends are mostly divers. Am pleasantly surprised with good service and friendly staff here. Shout out to Ringo who is very attentive, friendly and always attempt to find out if there's anything that he can do ie. Make bookings, if we have any need etc keep up the great job and we will be back for sure. The only set back is there's no WiFi at the room as connection is extremely poor. For this we have to hang out at the lobby to get access to the WiFi

The good: you get what you pay for, a big room with more than enough space to fit 4 person even when I booked for 3, the breakfast was decent, water dispenser available outside the room, aircond is cool, there’s 2 toilet and shower in my room, checking in and out was a breeze
The bad: there are monkeys roaming around and might snatch your stuff
Overall, nothing is bad at this hotel. You might want to stay here to avoid disappointment and have a comfortable and worry free vacation. Although the price can be made more affordable if there is enough competition around the area.

not recommeding this resort. you cant even have nice sleep bec its made by pvc plastic so you can hear every footstep if your a light sleeper like me. Its all day noisy coz every walk you will be disturb. Thats why if your trying to book to this resort they chasing you to pay in full. And not even drinking to there sunset bar. The waiter is keep coming back to ask to pay your bill even your drinks is not even half way yet it seems your going to run away. So instead of staying bit more or your to be annoyed to go to somewhere else i dont know thats their way of service. No good not recommending. Their food us pricey for lunch per person is 50 myr but you can eat next door at 4.5 rm for kampung fried rice that bit taste better than their food.

We have to take ferry from Mersing Jetty to Paya Jetty. Paya Jetty have Aman Tioman Beach Resort and Paya Debloc Village.
The surrounding is very wild and beautiful atmosphere to chill out, The hotel has convenient store, restaurants, bar and entertainment room. when we were there have the peaceful time because of the atmosphere and you can disturb wild animals by any chance.
Our package have 3 buffet meals included for everyday. We also easily can find food surrounding our hotel. Few coffee shops always have live band going on.
The best part is there has duty free shop for alcohol ( beer, soju and hard liquor ) you also can enjoy drink and some snack enjoy at balcony with your partner.
Resort there got many fun entertainment like pool game, water sports, fishing, terrain vehicle activity.

Popped in here on our first night in Tioman. Just wanted a bite to eat. All Malaysian food and seafood. Had sweet and sour chicken, fried squid, bok Choi and rice all washed down with a few beers. Food was delicious. Some of the nicest squid we’ve had in a long time. Lots of stray cats wandering around looking for scraps. Quick, clean, hot and simple.

My stay aman tioman resort was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and comfortable.
The food at this hotel is amazing. Every dish is carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and unique flavors. Whether it is the sumptuous buffet for breakfast or the exquisite food for dinner, it will make you linger. The chef's control of details and pursuit of taste make every bite a pleasure for the taste buds. Especially the hotel's signature dishes, which are simply delicious and memorable.

Aman Tioman Resort is one of the newer Resort in Tioman. We took the Cataferry which is much cleaner and safer Ferry , I would recommend the premium seats on Cataferry - well worth the comfort for a 2 hour journey from Mersing or Tg Gemok to Tioman. The Aman Tioman Resort is at Paya Jetty. It’s right next to the Jetty and a staff came with the scooter + luggage transport. The staff is very helpful & friendly.
On the day of our arrival, my partner and his eldest son decided to play golf, so they took a small boat (Ringgit 50 per person, one way) and went to Berjaya Jetty to play golf at Berjaya Golf Club. Coming back was a huge problem, so here we suggest that you make prompt arrangement with your boatman for return pick up! There is hardly anyone going to Berjaya hence not many boats to hire and return to Paya Jetty. Also avoid taking boat after 7pm as it gets so dark, without life jackets, it would seem quite risky.
Younger son joined me at Paya Beach Resort for an hour of body massage at their spa - it was lovely and delightful, Price is about Ringgit 135 for an hour.
Our 2 kids joined the Aman Tioman Dive Centre for 2 days of diving. ATDC Dive instructors - Nick and Dex took good care of the kids. The way ATDC is set up puts us at ease, because they are clean and well-organized. Everything we booked - Dive trips for the kids, snorkeling trips and boat rental - were all captured correctly onto our room bill. On Sunday, my partner and I decided to do a jungle trekking, we met a local who told us to “follow the cables” which is a simple but important tip. We walked through the jungle and climbed up the small hill with boulders, and ended up on a beach that is secluded. This is the sea turtle sanctuary, hence no resorts are built on this stretch. We found a foot path somewhere near the middle foliage from the beach and walked along the trail until we reached Berjaya Golf Resort. Lots of wild animals on the golf course which is beautiful - a pity that nobody ever comes to play on it.
While the boys went out diving, we joined a tour boat for a day of snorkeling and visited about 5 spots. At Marine Park, we swam near the lagoon border line and saw a black tipped reef shark. Don’t panic, they have never attacked humans before! ATDC charged us only Ringgit 120 per person for the half day snorkeling trip, we were joined by 8 other people, lots of selfie takers.
On the last day before we depart, we decided to rent our own small boat for 4 of us to snorkel for half day and the centre charged us Ringgit 650. These included life jackets and masks.
Overall, I enjoyed the trip very much. It’s sad to see some of the corals are either dying or dead. I can only imagine the beauty of them all - perhaps 20 years ago - when my friends were all heading to Tioman for dive trips. It’s a sad reminder to take care of our planet and not to pollute the earth. Perhaps it’s time to close off Tioman to tourists for the next 10 years to rehabilitate the coral reefs.

Hotel is new, room and bathroom are all new. There's on-going construction as they are building more rooms at the back but the noise wasn't intrusive from our room. Maybe the management can consider putting some chairs on the balcony. We didn't get a good sleep throughout our stay because of the pillows. Pillows are round and not flat - it's like resting your head on a balloon. Hotel staff are helpful and did try to change the pillows but they are all the same.
Location is good and convenient with many shops around. Finding alternative dining options is not an issue. Food in the hotel's restaurant is good. However, variety for breakfast is very limited and slow to refill. They serve almost the same thing throughout of 3 nights stay.
The real disappointment is the beach - water is clear but the beach is very dirty. Forget about snorkeling on the beach cos there are no corals and it's full of boats. Note that the hotel is not directly in front of the beach. You have to walk pass a row of dive operators to get to the beach. There's no deck chairs on the beach. The in-house snorkeling trip was not worth the money we paid for - not much corals in the area where they took us. If you are willing to walk, there's more corals to see at the far end of the beach behind a small island.
