Dear Bella, we just want to thank you for your efforts in making our stay a memorable one. We understand the hotel is going through reopening hiccups hence a few unprecedented experiences.
Mr Azul and yourself kindly encouraged us for feedback to which we felt reassured.
The food and dining experience on the 26th surpassed tremendously what we experienced on the 25th.
As we walked in, the ambience was lively and bright, a stark difference from the 25th.
The buffet display looked appealing. Everyone loved the lamb stew. The sotong, baked chicken, fish and vegetables were also good. The pickle station was awesome. Mom and I especially enjoyed the pickled garlic, onions, and petai! Salad and fruit bar had a good variety, and they were fresh and sweet! The children (and some adult 'children') tremendously enjoyed the DIY cendol station. The desserts station was lovely and the ice-cream station a bonus!
Thank you for so promptly finding a room for us with beds that were not as aged. I'm happy that my aunty didn't need to sleep on the concaved mattress. Everything else was working well in the new rooms with only a few small things like the aircond remote control and a door lock wasn't working.
Some important suggestions: 1. Hooks in bathroom to hang towels, clothes. 2. Bidet

Buggy service is always on time and ready to pickup whenever we need.
Improvement needed is maybe could provide water hose beside to toilet bowl to ease for muslim guest to wash up after ‘settling down’ the business.
Yuzu is the one staff i could remember and he is very helpful. Also, kudos to FnB team for preparing decorations for my friend’s birthday and to Mr Lovi, thank you so much on your treatment during our stay

Been 3 years since I have been back to Berjaya Tioman Resort and didn’t expect it to be maintained but it actually has been upgraded with new 66 n 55 TV’s all over. rooms are freshly painted / new shower curtains etc. Even new ATV’s for adults and kids and a new game / arcade area for kids too. Even the reception area has been livened up with pool tables / jukebix n electronic dartboards. Service is just as good as they have most of the old staff . The sunsets are simply awesome.. idyllic and romantic to pass the evening. Definitely, I hope to be back again by year end as the 2 nights / 3 days stay was too short .

First visit to Berjaya Tioman for our long weekend break. The area is beautifully landscaped offering a peaceful retreat by the sea.
Staff at the Asian Dinning during breakfast were friendly especially Sharul who worked the grounds went out of the way to make sure we had enough towels and water while we going for sea activities. Overall, very satisfied with the stay. The service, the smile, the greetings and many more. Every one of the staff are really friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were greeted with a smile and friendly people. Checking in is without hassle. The room is great. .

Having just returned from five days at this hotel, I have nothing but praise for it. This is a hotel coming out of a two year shut down because of Covid and hence they are still getting up to speed in services and numbers into their second week. But the way the staff made sure that the experience was exemplary was a credit to them all. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect, the sea is warm and inviting, snorkelling is a two minute boat ride away and the food is of a high quality throughout the day. Add in the visits by monkeys and monitor lizards and this is a dream destination with a hotel that Berjaya should be very proud of.

The spacious property is located amidst lush greenery and calm sea. The breakfast buffet is varied and appetising. But then this is where all ends. The room rent and food charge is exorbitantly high. The size of the room and washroom is small by the standards of a ‘resort’ and cobwebs are hanging underneath the washbasin. Cocktails are fine but food isnt great at all. The room tariff is equivalent to 4* but service is 2* . During our stay for 3nights, the resort also had invited a guest blogger for marketing on social media. Bella and her team devoted all their energy & attention on the guest blogger from sunrise to sunset. When we checked-in, Bella said she is our guest relation manager and attend us. What a joke! It looked all resident guests were unwanted & staying there for free while the resort over worked to please the blogger. We asked for drinks by the poolside for 1 hour, the bar opened only when Bella came with the guest bloggers. So even if you are ready to pay, you will not get what the resort offers. If you are ready to pay high prices for absolutely no service and left unattended, then this resort could be your idea.

Stayed with family of five ... Young children who also loved the place. The islands beautiful & one of my favourites in Malaysia. Prices are very reasonable for a good quality hotel. There're a few pools and lounge areas to escape the guests but it's a casual place where you get your own privacy. It's a small island so transport to and from airport is done by shuttle through rain Forrest. I'd go back again anytime

One of the best island resorts I've been to, Berjaya Tioman has lots of activities to fill up my holiday - snorkelling or diving amongst the healthiest coral reefs and diverse marine lives I witnessed, relaxing on the long stretch of golden sand private beach with crystal clear water, adrenaline pumping ATV ride through the nature, hiking and spotting its local unique floral and fauna, pulsating fire show, kayaking and standup paddle boarding through the gentle waves, wellness restored with the massages and free yoga classes, there is never a dull moment. The restaurant served up local and international buffet that are sumptuous. One can't demand much since we are on an island but I'm pleasantly surprised the spread of buffet is quite satisfactorily. One of the best sunset I've seen by far where the yolk of sun slowly dipping into the horizon and the sky is of yellow, orange and blue hues. Pool bar serves up delicious cocktails which is so chillaxing. The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable and clean. Staffs are all friendly and they really try their best to please. Tioman is also a duty free destination where beers and liquors are cheaper to drink to heart's content. Highly recommended.

This place is really beautiful. The service was great, very helpful. Always with a smile! and hospitable, we enjoyed the arranged activities and snorkelling, beach is clean and the water is warm and crystal clear. To stay at the Berjaya Tioman you have to love the sea, you have to love the sun, you have to love the sand and you have to be a little wild. It is a large resort where there is entertainment for children and adults during the day or in the evening ... It is important to know that we are on a beautiful Malaysian island and there is only the sea and the sun.. The rooms of the Garden Premier are beautiful and comfortable with an original and functional design ... but obviously they are only for sleeping or watch TV ... because you have to unplug from the hectic and working life and enjoy the relaxation of a place that offers peace and tranquility. The food is Good as it is based on a line of Malaysia dishes. The fish is also always fresh and is cooked excellent. Berjaya Tioman is highly recommended for people who love the sea, the sun and all the excursions that can be done on the fantastic nearby beaches. This hotel is located in a stunning location in Tioman island and it has a lot of land area. We took a ferry from mersing to tekek jetty as per the guide in hotel’s website. And upon arriving the tekek there was a van to pick up the Berjaya guests.
Once after the check in we straight away went to the lunch buffet, and btw we received a token for a complimentary welcome drink from the Asean restaurant, the one which we went for the lunch and I produce the welcome drink token for them but we never received any complimentary welcome drink from them also I told them we booked our room with lunch we are going to have it now. But surprisingly the lady was there came up with a bill for our lunch, from there my first impression of whole stay was like ahh huhh state. We never received the welcome drink they tried us to charge for our paid lunch also.
About the food there was not so much of variations.
Then we had to walked to our room because there weren’t any buggies to take us. Okay now start the disappointment of everything. We booked Beach Terrace room, and our expectation of this was bit high because of the Berjaya name and that’s the idea we regret, I think. Room was too dusty and seems poorly maintained. Same for the washroom also. Any way they provide a complimentary mini bar and all other required amenities and guest supplies were there. And one of most unpleasant and disturbing thing happened was they had a some private event near the pool area and they had a firework show at the mid night and it was so disturbing for our sleep.
Second day we had to be there near reception at 9 am for our Snorkeling tour which we booked together with room. And overall the everything related to the Snorkeling including transferring to the boat jetty were a nice experience and no regrets about the Snorkeling at all. All the Snorkeling staff and every once so friendly and helpful.
As the conclusion, for me I regret about the money I spend for this. Except the snorkelling package.
