I have stayed at this Lodge several times. Accommodation is always clean and comfortable. Food always hot and very tasty but the best feature, is the happy friendly staff. And of course, the wildlife and surroundings are beautiful.

Great place to see these fascinating creatures, that were able to join us if they wanted! No long walk to see them, which was a plus. A grey monkey dashed past us on the boardwalk! Animals everywhere and hornbills swooped down very close to be photographed! A great experience and a new love for these incredible animals has developed!

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We loved our river cruise as we had the chance to see a lot of monkeys, birds and other jungle friends. The food was excellent and any needs catered for.

I recently stayed at the Proboscis lodge with 4 of my friends. It was a quiet time of year as we were the only guests there, however this did not affect the warm welcome we received. We were greeted with juice and showed to our rooms. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy and little added effects like the...

We(group of 5) visited the Proboscis Lodge 10 days ago and spent 1 night. We had an amazing experience full of laughs, fun stories and an abundance of wildlife. The people at the resort went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We went on a river boat cruise as part of our package and were able...

We were with a tour group with 30 people, so we occupied two nearby lodges. There were only 10 in our group. The rooms were basic and the air conditioning managed to cool the room down at night, but at no other time. With power being turned off from about 9:00 am to 11:00 am and then again at 4:00...

This was a pleasant place to stay to do the river cruises. Individual cabins with balconies. Airconditioning reasonable however generators shut off 2 hours morning and night so room gets very hot. Main dining area open so no Airconditioning and flies are a problem at meal time. Lunch was served in an air conditioned room upstairs. Staff lovely. They did...

This place was as good or bad as the other lodges on the river. Expensive, hard to get to, not much to do between river cruises, only sold as a package. Forget about the cooking, silent boats etc. they all use processed food and noisy boats. Do yourselves a favour and choose a place purely by price, the cheaper wins....

We stayed 2 nights in one of the chalets on the river. Was an excellent experience. We could have stayed much longer. The staff were great, and the food was spot on. Probably the best we had in Borneo. The tours with our guide Feddie were great, he had eyes like a hawk and taught us a lot about the...
