Originally was going to book Sepilok Nature Resort but chose this because it was the only place that had a pool. Big BIG mistake. Would have been better to stay hot and sweaty.
Even after adjusting our expectations to reflect the budget price, this place...More
It’s tired but a charming resort located in the Borneo Jungle. The buildings and rooms are connected by wooden walkways over a lagoon. It was in an excellent walking location to the sights we wanted to see. We enjoy our stay there, including the great...More
This place is falling apart, literally. Tiles in the lobby needed to be glued down and every time I wanted to open or close my door I had to wrestle with it. The wifi was woefully inadequate, frequently not working very well even in the...More
We booked for 3 nights and would choose the same hotel again. A very simple budget hotel, almost basic, with gaps around the door seals, and things that could be improved (see other peoples' reviews). For us it was ideal, what we expected. Comfy enough...More

To whom do you address this "question"? Travelers who have stayed at Sepilok Jungle Resort, or management of the property? If you are addressing it to me as someone who stayed at the resort, I have to agree with Steve W. What are you talking about? Instead of challenging ME to warn people about the dangers...why don't YOU do it? I never saw any Orang utans at the pool or anywhere else on the property. If I did, I would not have tried to feed them or cuddle with them, but I don't know that I would have run away in fear, either.
So if there are dangers and attendant warnings that you think should be issued, please proceed.
