Stayed in Ayuni's house from 15th to 18th July, 2016. From the airport in Kota Bahru to Kuala Besut Jetty and the boat ride to the island was fantastic and spot on. Been reading reviews and tips from fellow TAs really help. The driver took us to a Nasi Dagang stall in Tok Bali which is a small town before...

We went to Jeti Kuala Besut without any proper plans or bookings. We are even confused to choose between Perhentian Besar OR Perhentian Kecil. While doing some shopping at local mart before deciding anything, we had this chit chat with a local trader named Mek Peng who advised us to stay at D'Ayummni House. She really did a great review...

RM50 per night for one bed in dorm room without breakfast, including air-con, hot water, tower.. Clean and new. Worth staying. One disadvantage is their electricity is provided in particular period of time everyday, not 24hr service. However if many of you want to use it, Ms Lee will open it for you.

We spent 5 nights as a couple in a big room with fan and air conditioning. The rooms are quite spacious, and for a good price. Ok, it is not directly on the beach, but nevermind, take a few steps and then you are in front of the sea, on a nice white sand beach :) additionnally, the owner, Mrs...

Lee and Ayumni, thank you for becoming friend with my daughter and playing with her!! My daughter enjoyed staying at your hotel, also me and my wife. We went to K.K. Beach with hamburgers and bottles of water every day following your advice. Your advice was true, the beach was great to go snorkeling and relax. When we will stay...

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay here for 1 night as we had no prior booking. When we first arrived, we were made aware of this but the woman who ran the place called a few other local places for us to find us another room for the rest of our stay. The rooms were really nice, comfortable beds,...

If it's your first time to Perhentian Island you can't go wrong choosing to stay at D'Ayumni. Ms Lee is friendly and helpful. Our chalet was basic and clean and reasonably priced. We felt like we were staying with a friend.

As lots of the other reviewers have said, Ms Lee is a fantastic host at D'Ayumni and all of the staff are really helpful. We stayed in an air conditioned room which was large and comfortable. Everything is very clean, in fact the whole place smells of clean washing! It is really well located (if a little hard to spot...

We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in Malaysia. We spent 5 nights of our three week holiday at D'Ayumni House on Perhentian Besar. While we liked the accommodation here, we didn't find it brilliant. The chalets are really very basic and your chalet contains a room with a bed and 2 chairs. There a tiny holes in the...
