Perhentian Island Resort is an ideal beach resort for a leisurely family vacation in Malaysia. Surrounded by lush greenery, facing white sandy beaches and a warm blue sea, Perhentian Island is a holiday paradise not to be missed. Perhentian Island, or Pulau Perhentian as the locals call it, is well known as a marine paradise and forms a parts of the National Marine Park of Malaysia. In the surrounding areas of Perhentian Island Resort, you will find many things to see and do. Take a jungle trek up the hills under a canopy of large trees, and you might see wild magpies, giant fruit bats or the Nicobar pigeon. Perhentian Island lies along the flight path of this migratory bird. You might also see the harmless monitor lizard or even the unique lutong monkey species. The nearest jungle trail is less than 100 metres away from our resort. Or gather your family and head to the inviting sea for a swim. For those who enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving, the Resort is strategically located, fronting a coral-rich bay. The marine ecosystem of this area is well documented and held in high regards by snorkellers and scuba divers. If you come between June and September, you might get lucky and see giant green turtles laying eggs along the beach. Enjoy your next family holiday at this paradise beach resort, where reality is like a dream.

I've lived in SE Asia for over 25 years, and at very remote locations helped to launch new sea turtle hatchlings as well as seen a female come in and lay eggs. But I never dreamed that I could stay in a bungalow at the beach, swim 200m from the water's edge and be swimming with 3 massive sea turtles. I don't know how they keep these turtles from being scared of people, but they daily showed up just off shore from the resort. My only complaint would be that the food service at the restaurant could be better--especially if they used higher quality cooking oil. But even in food service I was impressed that one of the breakfast cereal offers was good quality granola. We will be back to the Perhentian Beach Resort.

We were family and staffs going seeking leisure for 4 days 3 nights where at that time beachfront was full. But thank God my room can see beach view even it is not beachfront. Check in and out was great. Fast and nice. The room was big, but unfortunately the bed was not that comfortable. Water pressure was awesome. Theres hanging rack for wet clothes. They provide water every day and clean the rooms. I was having 2 rooms. The restaurant food was delicious except one day i order tenderloin i was 100% sure it was the meat grill yesterday not fresh one as i ask for medium well it come with over cook terderloin. What a big disappointment when at that time i was hungry. We too snorkeling beach to rawa island. It was so so. Except for tokong burung the point was awesome. We

This is one of the most amazing places to stay in our trip. You are like 45 mins drive from the nearest land connection. Nature at its best be it beach, animals and tranquility. The kids had great fun with the beach and there are lots of options to explore. The food served in the restaurant is great and you also have some shack options. Amazing stay

My husband and i stayed for a two night three days in a beach front villa . We bought the full snorkeling package with airport transport. First, the transport was good. Make sure that you arrive to kota bohra airport in the morning so that you can get the boat ride to reach the resort. Last boat is at 4 pm. For our case we had to sleep in Kuala Besut village because we arrived late. Second, the resort is well managed. You start by visiting their office in kuala besut jetty. Then they take you to the speed boat. When you reach the island , they will welcome at the reception with a welcome drink and your room will be already assigned so check in went smoothly, Third, try to book a beach front villa. The view from the room is so beautiful. The room is spacious and they clean it on
