We had a beachfront chalet which had a beautiful setting right on the sand so we could sit on the balcony or easily come and go for a swim (and it cost less than a "garden view" room in places like Tuna Bay!). The chalet was basic, but spacious, and although it had the usual Asian no-shower-cubicle-set-up, the exceptionally large...

Stayed in family garden view for two adults and a kid since the sea view chalets were unavailable. We were happy to find a clean room with a spacious bathroom. Three bottles of drinking water, a mini fridge, clean bed sheets, ceiling fan and air con makes our 2 nights stay really pleasant. Though there is no actual 'garden view' but...

We (2 adults and 2 boys, 5 and 8) stayed at Abdul's for a week and really fell in love with the place. It's really a very basic place, but there's just such a nice atmosphere around it. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant, and liked it. We played a lot of beach football with both the...

Stayed from 25/3 till 27/3 in their Standard Garden View, but really its just like 1 min walk to the beach. We took the package so food was provided (so many choice of food!) the first night we were so tired and slept in the evening, woke up around 9 30 PM and thought we were late for our dinner,...

Stayed with family for totally 8 nights: most nights in Family Seaview but later need to split into two rooms for the last 2 nights - Deluxe Seaview and Standard Garden View. Both seaview rooms have perfect view but Deluxe Seaview was located further so was more private. Rooms are simply and aircon works good. We booked rooms via e-mail...

White sands and crystal blue waters as you step off the boat. Perhentian Besar, the larger of the two Perhentian Islands is everything you imagine an island paradise to be. And just of the jetty, smack in the middle of the Marine Park is Abdul's Chalet. An affordable place, especially if you planning to stay longer and stretch your budget....

For an April vacation we stayed at Abdul's with friends. The facility itself is modest but more than adequate. Simple rooms with aircon and enjoyable balconies. The food is alright. What is truly distinctive is the beach and the ocean. Very pristine and well preserved. With small children is was the perfect opportunity to introduce them to snorkeling and the...

We first booked for 4 nights as we had been travelling for 3 weeks. It is about an hours journey by boat from the mainland . On arrival we were shown to our chalet. You have a large bedroom a large bathroom and a decent balcony. There is aircon and slow and intermittent wi fi. None of the chalets are...

We have been to Perhentian 3 times and decided to stay at Abdul's for the first time. We always stay at Tuna Bay but the rooms are so expensive there now. No regrets whatsoever! Adbul was a good choice for my family of 2 adults and 3 kids . We took the garden room for the first night as they...
