Nothing to say about this place but HORRIBLE. Rooms are in horrible condition and staff were badly trained (or not trained at all). Not worth the money spent. Budget chalet does not mean no proper basic facilities and dirty. Bad enough that electricity was only available from 7pm till 8am, water supply was inconsistent as well.

Decent backpacker hotel (even though the bathroom could be better), close to the beach, in a heavenly environment. However, we got robbed INSIDE OUR ROOM during the night (wallets, smatphones, etc) and in the morning the hotel staff did nothing to help. Therefore, I am forced to put the worst rating.

actually i am not a picky person but what the chalet offers is really poor. the dorm is pretty basic and the only thing that is okay. the sharing toilets smell bad and none of them has a flush. only one out of four has a light. same with the showers. mostly you shower in the dark and with millions...

There is really nothing to say but bad facts. We're really far form basic property and comfort. High price for AC rooms within really really bad conditions. I spent one night here and run the day after at 8am. Even if accommodations are bad on the island but there is much better elsewhere.

We stayed in this property as I had booked a diving package with Panorama Divers (see separate review). I was well aware before arriving that the property was very basic and targeted to low budget travellers. That's normally not a problem for me, indeed some great hotels are basic. Unfortunately in this case it was clear that the management had...

First off, electricity is limited to 6pm-8am the next morning. No power is available the rest of the time. I took a twin share chalet with fan, thought we'd get two single beds but ended up with a double bed. The bed was old and creaky with worn out mattress and sheets. The floor of the chalet needs repairing, serious...

Facilities are pretty old. Staff sounded a bit blur. Maybe they weren't confident with their English? Toilet did not have any tissues. Had to buy a roll for RM2 at the convenient store. =/ Remember to use insect repellant before you sleep. There may be a lot of mosquitoes around. At least it's cooling at night. Food is not included...

We visited over the national holiday so we did expect it to be expensive ... But 50MYR a night for a bed in a dorm room of 30 seemed to push it a bit. I guess that they can afford to charge that much over the peak season, but in comparison to the amazing accom we got elsewhere in Malaysia...
