Finally I felt in peace with my soul! Palais des dunes is 1 minutes walk from the dunes. The room is rustic and confortable. The riad is in the perfect style of desert experience. The food was really really teasted and the stuff's service perfect! The walked in camels and the night in the desert, behind the stars, was an...

I stayed for the second time in Merzouga at Palais des Dunes and I have to say that this is a really welcoming place to stay. The rooms are really nice decorated, the service and the people who work there are amazing friendly. You have the perfect view to merzouga dunes and only a few meters walk to them. It...

My wife and I had a great time here. We've been in Morocco for a week and this was the best dinner (at the hotel) we have had so far. The rooms we're sufficiently clean and the staff very friendly. Our desert tour was awesome, and the young men handling the camels and working at the camp were all helpful...

We took the sunset-camel trek into the desert, with Palais des Dunes as a base...it was just over an hour on the camels to the tents. Our tent with a cot & mattress with a couple of very heavy blankets, which were MUCH needed. It was colder than we had planned for in December. Dinner was good, and after dinner...

Hi all, I want to describe how was my 1 night stay in early May 2014. 300 Dh for night + food sounds not too bad but I wished I paid bit more to be elsewhere. Promised wi-fi did not work at all, evening food was not palatable, breakfast was baguettes and marmalade + tee or coffee and olives only....

Have no idea about what the rooms are like in the hotel whatsoever. Didn't go there for a room, no I went there for their camel trek in the desert with a night bivouac under the stars. I picked this place for that since there is a fixed location to find and start from. Compared to others 'meet by the...

We stayed her in July for one night as part of a package. We did not choose this lodging and would not recommend it to anyone. We used the hotel as a base for our camel trek to sleep in the tents out in the dunes-I wouldn't use this place as a base either. The room we were given for...

Nice hotel in the desert with a swimming pool in its inner courtyard. We booked two excursion with them (SUV trip and overnight camel trek) both were excellent. There were only one other 4 persons group at the desert camp, making it really calm. The decoration at the hotel could be better.

We did not stay here for a night but rather used the hotel to keep our belongings before we headed out the tents in the Sahara to spend the night. The hotel served that purpose well and the shower and breakfast the next morning were good but not great. The overall experience (including the night in desert) was a very...

One-story hotel built around a tree-filled courtyard so there is a nice breeze. Erg Chebbi Dunes are located on other side of the highway so guests can easily walk into the dunes. There were Moroccan family groups there for the sand-burial practice. I booked the room through www.desert-trips.com and find they can negotiate better prices for all bookings than I...
