Perfectly located hotel for visiting the dunes. The sand is at your patio ! Service was very good. Pool area offers a nice retreat ! Everything was clean. The restaurant was very good, with entertainment in the evening. We didn't actually see Merzouga, which guidebooks had said can be overrun with tourists. To the contrary, we felt very "out there"...

This is in a fantastic location. You literally open your patio doors and the dunes are there. We only stayed one night. It was our intention to stay longer and sleep at the desert camp. However, our son was recovering from illness, so we gave it a miss. The rooms were ok. AC was only available in the evening, when...

Location of this hotel is amazing - you do really open your doors to the sand dunes of Merzouga. In terms of facilities the place is somewhat run down and airco in our room was not working well - bit of an issue in 45+ degrees. Also there is no electricity in the daytime as power lines have not been...

The trip to get to this hotel was across some of the most barren and remote land I've ever seen. I later found out that NASA uses this area to test out the Mars rovers. If you've ever taken a ride out across this stretch of Earth, you understand why. The hotel staff, of whom I only saw/met two, were...

The view of the dunes is fantastic. Just like in the movies. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Some of the rooms have a great view of the dunes. Mine did. The service at the hotel was not so good as it might have been. My room did not have a bar of soap for example.

So when you open it up you can walk straight out into the dunes!! We arrived in the dark, and the next morning were amazed by what greeted us at our back door.....the rolling, massive sand dunes spreading away from us. The following night was spent in the dunes themselves, but that can be a separate review. Dunes D'or does...

Simply all great! The location is better than imagined. The hotel is very clean, relaxing environment. Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Really on the edge of the desert, we combined our stay in Morocco with Auberge De Charme Les Dunes D'Or. We highly recommend.

Great location and must have been a very impressive hotel in it's day, now a little run down, rooms dark and not too clean, hot water intermittent, corridors tend to exaggerate noise of other guests . Swimming pool a welcome facility having experienced the Sahara during the day, great views of the sunrise and the staff are helpful. Food limited...

I have already been in Morocco for a couple weeks, and by far, the experience here was in my top 3. Everything you read in the reviews are good. What I liked as well, was that everyone was really helpful, they are trusting, and none of them asked for tips like in the rest of Morocco. This time we felt...
