I have spent a night in the Sahara before so was interested to find out how this would compare. Very basic last time but fun. This was an incredible experience. Everything has been thought of. To think that we could get hot and cold water for showering was amazing and I tried a short shower just because I could and...

We spent one night, here after spending the day traveling from Fes. Looking back at the photos shared on Trip Advisor they are a little miss leading. Be sure to inquire about the accommodations. The photos that are posted are of the Luxe tents which I understand cost a great deal more than the "regular" tents. The reviews are accurate....

My wife and I spent the night in the "Deluxe" camp following our camel ride into the desert during a terrible sand storm. No fault of the Xaluca or the desert for that matter but still an interesting adventure once the sand storm subsided. We decided to stay in the tent in spite of some sand being blown around since...

Don't miss this experience. You take a 2x4 into the desert. We had a large tent with a bathroom and shower. Its rustic, but for one night...great. there are 4 tents in a square. Our friends had one, one was empty and the 4th was our dining tent where the came and served us dinner. It seemed like we had...

What can you say about sleeping in a tent amongst the sand dunes of the Sahara, except WOW! And how about having a bed (wrapped in mosquito netting) electric lights, sink, toilet, and shower with hot and cold running water. Now that's Glamping! After your camel ride to watch the sunset your camel guide drops you off at the tent...

We spent one night here, after traveling for a short distance (45 minutes or so) over spectacular dunes by camel. Described to us by our tour guide as 'luxury tents,' we have to admit that we were disappointed. Although the beds were adequate and it might be inherently luxurious to have a hot shower and flush toilet in the Sahara,...

We were looking for a really special Sahara luxury tent experience and put our faith in the Xaluca brand. We approached with trepidation as our first Xaluca Kasbah experience at Arfoud was hit and miss. With fingers crossed we met our driver Yousef in Arfoud and boarded his older model Land Cruiser. The drive was great as we left the...

Traditional tuareg tent, very spacious, with en-suite basic facilities. We enjoyed a nice dinner atmosphere under the stars, with a bottle of wine, too much food (but not too quality), warmed up by an open fire just in the middle of our open-air living room. There was some traditional music and then only us, the stars and the desert silence...

Lovely place, full of space, rooms are big with good free internet, bathroom is big and the shower gives a lot of water, you can get used to showers with no so much water in this area And buffets are great! With food for all kind of guests, in our party where veggans, and all find wonderful meals Meal

What an experience! We drove to our location in 4X4 vehicles. Approaching the huge sand dunes was impressive. We were put directly on camels for a ride into the desert. Warning, hold on tight as the camels lean far forward and complain loudly as they get to their feet! A ride of about an hour total was fabulous. The scenery...
