This hotel was such a delightful surprise! Our entire package included transport to and from Marrakech with Moha - who was our amazing guide. The drive to the desert included several stops and was very scenic. Upon arrival at the Auberge de Sud hotel in...More

Though the hotel Auberge du Sud is perfectly charming, we only had tea there by the pool while we waited for our camel ride to their desert tent camp. The pool area is expansive and quite beautiful. The desert camp we stayed in is owned...More

Went to the luxe bivaque experience (2 hours camel ride + sleep in a tent in the desert). The camel ride was great although our guide didn't know any language other than Arab. The camping is great: big tents, big rooms, shower and toilet. But...More

Planning to spend Christmas in Marrakesh but would like to also have the Bedouin/Berber tent experience - perhaps for new years eve? How easy is it to organise transport from Marrakesh if we don't want to hire a car and drive - plus return to the nearest airport. Twin room required.

Is there electricity is the Standard Tent?

We are booked on a tour of Morocco this spring that will stay at the tented camp associated with the hotel. This sounds like a neat experience, but we wondered if the tent would have in-suite toilet and shower.
