The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and do their best to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are large and clean with ensuites and extra blankets for cold nights. Food was great with heaps of fresh salads and fruits severed with every meal. It's location on the edge of the Sahara makes it easy to explore the...

Located a few miles outside of Merzouga (a nice walk along the base of the sand dunes into town is possible) on the "quieter side" of the Merzouga dune complex, it was a great place to stay. The staff very helpful, but not intrusive; the pool a great place to hang out. They picked us up right on time at...

One of the reasons our guide selected this hotel, was its proximity to the dune camps. It is only a hour camel ride away. The other hotels are two hours away, which is too long. The staff of the hotel were absolutely wonderful. They gave us a true Berber experience. Such heart warming people. They met our every need and...

We'd followed a loop to get an overview of Morocco - Casablanca, surf around Tagazout, snow in Okaimeden and riads of Marakech - so the desert was next. Stories of touts banging on the car and selling an overpriced night on a camel blanket in the open made us hyper alert as we neared Merzouga - sure of our important...

For our trip to Morocco this summer we had three nights that we didn’t book ahead of time; one of these nights was Merzouga and our desert excursion because even with reading all of the reviews, I still couldn’t make a decision. It turns out that there is actually no need to book ahead of time in the summer, as...

As usual the Nomad Palace lived up to my expectations. Staff are incredible, helpful, courteous and look after me so well. The hotel is situated in a wonderful position, so near to the Erg Chebbi Dunes. I am able to walk for miles on my own with no worries. At night the sky is something so special.

Hotel Nomad Palace was a great place to stay in the desert of Morocco. It had a wonderful location, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was very friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and hospitable. They even had a pool! I'm very thankful that my tour company Ligne D'Aventure Maroc found this...

My family and I were blown away by this beautiful hotel right on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Some way out of Merzouga you really get a feel for the enormity of the desert. Driss, the manager, catered for our every need, seeing us fed when we arrived very late to being an excellent guide. The camel safari...

We arrived at night, after an 8 hour drive from Fez on the most spectacularly beautiful highway I've ever traveled. In a tiny, 2-wheel drive Kia more suitable to big-city shopping than desert touring. I was a bit concerned about actually finding the hotel, which is a few kilometers beyond the actual village of Merzouga. As it turned out there...

From the start of our desert trip, being rescued by our hosts when our car couldn't go beyond a flooded road, to the end, being welcomed back to at dawn by a smiling Drees, after an amazing camel ride; it was all wonderful. Great rooms, great food, spectacular sunrise; but mostly it was the enthusiasm of the people at the...
