La Omaja is a fabulous gem of a hotel. The staff are wonderful, quickly learning your name, helping to arrange activities, and communicating effectively in English or Spanish. The facility is quiet, somewhat remote, and a fun blend of luxury and nature. The infinity pool with views of the sunset and volcano is splendid. The Cabañas are spacious, clean, have... More

Having been to 5 different places in Nicaragua, this place leads the way for service, experience and a holiday. The staff are bilingual and professional, going out of their way to help with anything they can, including excursions, local calls, rides anywhere you want... Your individual cabanas are beautiful, with stone showers, aircon, couches and tables. The view from the... More

My family of five stayed here for three nights and loved it! The staff is excellent, the rooms are well kept and the views are stunning. Every sunset was different and amazing. Hanging out at their pool should literally be an attraction on the island

We loved La Omaja and found the grounds to be beautiful. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were large and comfortable, the showers amazing and the porch and views were stunning.

This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. For only $60 I had my own private cabin complete with chairs, a hammock, and a view of both Lake Nicaragua and Volcano Concepcion. The staff were helpful and welcoming, doing their best to make sure my stay was comfortable and relaxing. I very much enjoyed lounging in the wonderful... More

The fantastic view, the infinity pool, the sunset with volcano backdrop, and most of all, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff (Horatio, Alan and Albero in particular) all make for a memorable experience. The much-appreciated air conditioning helps get through the hottest part of the day. Rooms are fairly simple but spacious, clean, and there are chairs and hammocks on... More

This place is amazing. I have stayed three times now and it has never failed to impress. The views and amenities that this place provides are what you would expect to pay the big bucks for. For just one or two people I wouldn't say this is a budget hotel, but every time I have come they have been willing... More

Infiniti pool watching the sunset! Amazing food and drinks! They arrange anything you want to do the night before- asking you before you get the chance to ask them. We had a guide lead us to the top of the volcano! It was a once in a lifetime unforgettable trip! The friendliest staff we encountered! Even the owner gave us... More

I stayed here as part of a large group. We had most of the rooms for the first couple of nights. The staff is wonderful. They quickly learned our names, and then when we ate in the restaurant, they just added it to our tab. Very easy. During the trip we had one of our group celebrating a birthday, and... More
