Pros: The rooms don't smell. Cons: Nobody of the Staff speaks english. So the first day we didn't get any breakfast at all (even if we were told by our agencie we would get a small box with fruit...). Then we've got promised for the second day breakfast till 8. Now after a boy opened our window (balcony) twice during...

I stayed here for one ninght before going to Machu Picchu as most people probably do. It is small and the staff were friendly. Pretty basic hotel, but the bed was comfy and there was hot water. Free wifi is provided although it only works downstairs. Most rooms don't have external windows - mine did but the street below was...

We stayed here when visiting Machu Picchu as it was one of the hostels recommended by our travel agents. The room was pretty drab, and although we booked a double room, we got two single beds that were firmly separated. The ensuite shower room was more of the same - very basic, cramped with a guarantee your floor will stay...

We arrived only to be shuffled over to an alternative location. There, completely exhausted, we checked into our room and took a nap. Then we went out for dinner. When we got back, we further inspected our room. My friend's sheets were muddy, which we found somewhat surprising. I pull back my sheets to find a painted toenail clipping. DEFINITELY...

This was booked as a part of a package in Cusco. Firstly not a single willing person on staff wanting to help. I was walking up to Machu Picchu, breakfast is at 5am, can I have some food set aside earlier? No What time do I have to leave to start walk? 4.30am. I suggest you buy a bus ticket....

I want to be fair: PROS: relatively clean, close to rail station, early breakfast and the person who does breakfast is friendly CONS: Water only luke warm, reception staff not that helpful, my toilet wasn't working properly nor the TV, damp. Overpriced for what you get. Noisy made worse by cats fighting loudly (but obviously nothing the hotel could do...

I travelled there from Colombia. I have to say this was not a nice stay at all. I never felt welcomed by the staff. Don't know why the person in charge that night was not helpful at all. I didn't find the bathroom clean enough, and there was no laundry service being this the main reason I chose to stay....

Stayed here for a night after 3 days of hiking the Salkantay before heading to Machu Picchu. For being on a tight budget, this place was perfect and the nicest of all of the hostels I stayed in during my week in Peru. It was AMAZING to have an actual hot shower after hiking and camping for 3 days and...

La Boheme was full when we got there and they recommended us Hostel Inti Quilla around the corner. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience there. First we nearly missed our Machu Picchu trekking because the guy at the door send our guide away two times when he wanted to pick us up early morning, although we had told him...

I had a "double" (two twin beds) room with a private bathroom. My room was sufficiently clean, though it would have been tight if it was shared with someone else. After reading other reviews, I brought a pair of ear plugs and any noise from the courtyard was easily masked. My room was also sufficiently warm though the temperature at...
