I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's located at the very edge of the town meaning that it's the quietest area. It's only a 10 minute walk from the station as the town is very small. Personally I wouldn't have liked to stay in a hotel right in the centre of Aguas Calientes as it's a very small and busy...

Stayed with the girlfriend for one night, very close to the night life, nice hotel with good breakfast buffet and superb attention at the front desk. They are eager to help, even coordinating taxi services at your arrival back to Cuzco town or another one. Wi-fi could be better, but again is normal for that area

Aguas Calientes(or Pueblo de Machupicchu) is a very small "city", where you can stay when you decide to visit Machupicchu Ruins. Taypikala Hotel is at the top of the city( a small but upside walk). Atendants very friendly(specially the guy who took our luggage upside hill) . The room is very confortable and big, with a ashtonishing view from the...

This hotel is comfortable and in a great location. Book the suite well in advance, it is worth it. There are lots of restaurants around it and the included breakfast in the morning is very good! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern. It was nice to have a couple free bottles of water in the room and...

A 10 min walk from station. Situated up the hill through restaurants. Many to choose from. Hotel room and facilities very good. Breakfast good and tea etc always available in lobby. Staff very helpful and keep luggage when you go to Macchu useful.

The room was comfortable with nice views. We had dinner there and it was very good. The service was great, everyone was very polite and accommodating as all the people we met in Peru. The only drawback about the hotel is its location. It is a steep uphill walk from the train station. Thankfully the bell captain who came to...

Its a nice hotel. The price was fair. The only problem is that its far from the station. You have to walk a lot with that rarefied air. The bedroom was very clean, so was the toilet. I didnt fell save after a strange night: I woke up to go to the toilet and my girlfriend didnt see me going...

What a great place to rest after the train ride to Aguas Calientes! We had a suite room and its view was fantastic! The room and its bathroom were big and the Jacuzzi was just perfect! This hotel is right next to a stream and mountains. Its staff were very nice too. One of their staff came all the way...

We stayed only one night on an escorted tour. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were easily understood and polite. The town Agua Calientes is beautiful, with great restaurants and vibe. We would have liked to stay longer.

my stay there was very comfortable, the reception people are very friendly and helpful. tea and coffee is available to guests free at all times -- very good if you have to hang out a bit having arrived early or taking a later train to leave. i had a room with a great view on the 5th floor.
