We found this family based hotel to be so friendly and helpful for us. They also went out of their way many times to help us. They gave us free drinks. They gave us a free present upon departure. They held some of our belongings on the first day so we could make it to Machu Picchu quicker. They walked...

Only stayed 1 night and only have good things to say, except for the lack of credit card facilities, which meant having to draw cash (luckily there is an ATM nearby) and incite an additional cost because of the bank service fee. Other than this slight inconvenience, the location is absolutely perfect... Walking distance from everything... And the trains only...

We loved this little place. Good value, basic, clean, reasonable shower (hot) and easy access to Machu Pichu the next morning. They even prepared breakfast half an hour earlier for us. Plan to either gave a late lunch upon return from ruins or pack a sandwich/ snacks for the day as prices are more expensive at the top. We caught...

Adela's exceeded our expectations for our one night stay in Aguas Calientas. Lovely views of the river, comfy beds and, most importantly, hot showers! The staff were friendly and happy to store our bags and let us hang out in the foyer while we waited for our evening train. Recommended!

Good value for money, clean, hote water, wifi, friendly owners. Getting a gift at checkout ( a postcard and a woven doll) was a very nice touch. 4 stars because one of the sides ( where my room was) faces the train tracks. The windows are big and the views are great, but you need to make sure to keep...

Meets and/or exceeds all expectations of a 2-star hostel in a town that doesn't have the best rep. The hostel is right across from the train station, which was super-convenient (and not an issue since trains stop running around 9pm). It's also across from where you get on the bus to Machu Picchu. The staff were helpful; we checked in...

Traveling around the world taught me not to demand too much from the poor countries facilities - wise. The hostel is clean, cosy like a locally run family business. Fresh towels, shampoo and soap, bottled water is given. Wifi is also quite fast! It us close to the bus that takes you to Machu Picchu. We had breakfast at 5:30...

Very close to everything - bus and train station. We got the room on the river side - very nice view! The room was clean and spacious. Great hot shower, wi-fi worked ok. The best breakfast we had during our trip - eggs!!!, fresh juice, jam, bread, coffee, teas. They also served the breakfast very early (5:30am) so that we...

Perfect location overlooking the river (I asked for a room at the back after reading reviews, it was so beautiful) very close walking distance to everything. Clean and tidy. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed in Aguas Calientes for one night after our 4 day trek and it was a great decision. The hotel was very clean, the water was nice and warm and the staff were very friendly. Ask for a room over the river, the white noise of the water put me right to sleep. Highly recommend anyone...
