Such a good price for the package you receive. The front desk employees were truly some of the sweetest people I met while in Peru. The place was a breath of fresh air, super cool vibe about it. They even packed a lunch for me while I was headed to Machu Picchu! They let us come back and shower even...

For the purpose of using Aguas Calientes as a home base for your Machu Picchu trip, SuperTramp is everything you'd need or want and more. The staff is so friendly (shoutout to Fran for literally being perfect) and the showers are hot. If you want to catch sunrise at MP, they'll even pack you a bagged breakfast (but make sure...

Nice hostel located in Agua calientes, slightly difficult initially to find but easy later on. For people arriving by train, turn left and walk towards the main square till you reach the bus stop for MP and then take a right and go uphill and you'll see a red bridge (there'll be another small bridge before that, just pass it)....

My husband and I chose to get our own private room. We were on the second floor across from the communal bathroom. It was super chill and clean. The staff was helpful and answered our questions. It was walking distance to catch the bus to Machu Picchu which was top priority.

We had many issues with our stay. Check in is very slow (took over 1hr because they scan each passport with the slowest scanner ever). There is only one staff member working most of the time so don't expect to be able to rent a towel without waiting in line for 30min ++

Stayed in a 10-person dorm and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Very central location and a quick walk to catch the bus for Machu Picchu. Safe area and helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast was good. Good value. Would recommend this hostel if exploring the Aguas Calientes/Machu Picchu area!

I stayed in the 4 room bunk room for two nights while doing Machu Picchu and the stay was perfect. Early breakfast, clean and safe room (bring your own lock though!), super helpful staff, access to a guide for Machu Picchu for 30 soles, good free breakfast, large clean bathrooms with plenty of hot water, and a cute rooftop bar....
