The room itself was ok. there were 2 beds, tv, wifi . there was also a bathroom with shower , hot in the evening and morning. the window in the bathroom had a view on the bathroom of my neighbour. we had a room on the second floor. We had to bring our luggages ourselves to the second floor. The... More

Nice, simple and comfortable place. Only bad note: it is directly on the railway, so the trains passing during the night risk to keep you awake because they are very noisy. Useful note for travelers: since the numbers of the houses/buildings are totally random in Aguas Calientes (for example: 125 is followed by 513, then 308, and so on...), it... More

The room itself was okay - pretty much what I expected, it's at the end of the railroad tracks and barely mid-range so I knew I wasn't getting the Shangri La. What I'm writing this review about however is the fact that the management simply lied, and worse yet, they didn't do it to my face, they had their staff... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night as part of Exodus trip (Peru Explorer) after a 3 night/4 day Inca Trail. After completing the Inca trail the idea was that we would get the bus down to Aguas Calientes and check into the hotel. The next morning we would then get up early and go back up to Machu Picchu... This is a horrible hotel. Stayed for 1 night here. Toilet broke and nearly flooded most of the bathroom. Rooms were just barely clean- had the impression that it was quite dingy. At night when the temperature dipped, there was no heating at all. During the day however it was a bit comfortable. The breakfast selection was horrible...very limited, sparse... More

I suppose this would be great if you were stopping over for an early visit to Machu Pichu as my room was right over the main railroad track and goods siding. First train was at 0515. Room was clean and had satellite TV. Bed was comfortable but nowhere to put bags or clothes. Bathroom was clean but typically the drainage... More

The room was very clean. The wifi worked. The shower was not very hot, just warm. It is very convenient to the bus and train station. They forgot to tell me that breakfast was at a nearby hotel. Others have commented about train noise. It didn't keep me up because i was tired from machu pichu! The only concern i... More

Stayed here one night, after hiking to Machu Picchu and one night is probably all I could do. Pros: Hot shower DirecTV (surprisingly the first place I stayed in with an in room tv which made my friend super happy) Cons: No in room heater (in raining season at night it's cold, and if you're in the bed next to... Most people don't spend more than 1 night in Aguas Calientes and thats all you'd really want at this hotel. The trains are noisy during the day (almost feels like they are driving through the hotel room) but we were up in the morning before the first train to see sunrise at Machu Picchu so didn't affect us that much.... My room overlooked the train tracks at the front of the hotel. Right below my room was an early morning meeting place for workers. The train stopped outside the hotel for 1/2 hour in the afternoon. The rooms filled with smoke and fumes. Some people were able to change their rooms. The next morning the train stopped outside the hotel... More
