Hotel Continental is between the train tracks and the river. Rooms toward the river are better and the being at the very end of the row of hotels (which makes it a little farther than the rest), it has a really great view. The distance from the center is not a big issue as the town is really small. I...

This place is nothing special but isn't bad either. WiFi is only in the lobby, and the place isn't located as centrally as other places but Aguas Caliente is small enough that it doesn't really matter. Would have put it above average except the staff didn't seem to speak English well at all, and they never had any change (seems...

Stayed here 1 night on the way to see Machu Picchu. I was with a tour group so did not choose this hotel myself. The rooms were clean, quite small and had no air conditioning. Staff were friendly. There's free wifi in the lobby. I had a river facing room so no issues with noise from trains- though the whole...

My friends and I stayed here after our Inca Trail hike. We were very happy to have a private bathroom! The room was clean and has a great view of the river. I would say it is more like a 3 star for Canadian standards. Would definitely recommend for the budget traveler.

This hotel is located on the far end of the strip. We didn't have a choice of where we stayed in Aguas Calientes, our guide had booked it. The hotel faces the train tracks and can be quite noisy. The rooms are decent and comfortable but stuffy - it didn't seem like there was any air circulating. Hot showers. I...

Average choice...considering most people only stay in Aguas Calientes one night, it is OK. Rooms are clean and the whole building is modern. A bit hard to find on the other side of the train tracks though - often behind parked trains! You will also hear every train pass day and night.

I knew when I booked this hostal that it was next to the train tracks, but I had no idea how close it was. Our room was unfortunately facing the train tracks and I felt like I could stick my hand out the window and give the train conductor a high five. There were times when a train would be...

I stayed here with a group so I was able to see 3 different rooms. If you've been to plenty of hostels in the past, you'll be pleased with this one because it feels more like a hotel. The Good: Comfortable, reasonably priced, temperature in room good, size of room, tv included, high quality than most hostels you'll find these...

We spent the night here the night before Macchu Picchu and were very pleased. It's slightly away from the rest of the bustle of Aguas Calientes and that was a nice perk. Our hotel room had a beautiful view of the river and a small balcony looking out over it. Our rooms seemed new and were very nice and clean....

We had three nights here, for two reasons so we could avoid the Machu Picchu mad rush when the train arrives between 10am - 3pm also being the wet season we though we must get one clear day of three. We were met by a guy at the station and shown exactly were to go, the reception staff were friendly...
