The location is great, right on the main drag of Aguas Calientes and about a 7 minute walk from the train station (there are no taxis in Aguas Calientes, so you want to be close!). The receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful and explained the whole Machu Picchu process to us and arranged to have breakfast ready for us for...

super well located, u r right there. Super clean and super friendly staff. Their dog is an attraction. the only downside is their exchange rate is too high and they charge 6% on ur bill if u pay by credit card and this is not advertised.

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights on the 10th and 11th of July 2015, as an Outlook Expeditions group of 16 people (13 students and 3 teachers). The hostel was in a central location only 5-10 mins walk from the train station guided by the owner of the hostel who came to pick us up from the station....

The town is expensive in general, but this hotel is nice, clean and cheap. Fist morning the guy was slept, (not on purpose) so we went to Machupichu at 5 am without taking breakfast. In the afternoon when we came back, he apologize about that and next day, when we were leaving they gave us breakfast and pack lunch to...

We stayed here for one night before our early start to Machu Picchu. Our room was nixe temperature, we both had a nice hot shower, the room was clean and the staff were pleasant. We ordered a takeaway breakfast veggie style for the next morning which was included in our room rate. We were able to store our backpacks and...

This is a clean and comfortable, albeit basic hotel in Aguas Calientes. It's located towards the top of the main street, so you have a short uphill walk to it. The rooms are good and the bathroom clean, although there is no shampoo. It does get a little noisy as you can hear other guests coming and going. The owner...

We were pleasantly surprised by this pretty hostel. We had reserved one room with three beds, plus an extra bed for our family of five. When we arrived, we were given two rooms across the hall and safely tucked away at the end of the third-floor hall, for the same price as the one room we had reserved. One room...

We stayed here one night before our visit to Machu Picchu. The hotel is well located on the main restaurant and hotel street. The owner speaks fluent English and is very helpful. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. We asked for a breakfast box an it was ready at 4am. We stored...

This was our best hot shower in Peru. The beds were super comfortable, the owner was fluent in English and very helpful along with the other staff. They let us leave bags for the day too. Slightly noisy at night but it was only because we went to bed super early. If you travel independently and hiked your whole trip...

My family and I stayed at this friendly hostal during our trip to Machu Picchu. The room was basic and clean with hot water. We had a room on the 3rd floor at the corner which gave us a nice view of the town. Julio, the owner, prepared a lunch box for us as we were leaving for the first...
