Everything about this hotel is average = the service, the room, the cleanliness. But, I think, staying in Aguas Calientes in general is an average experience... which in a way isn't a bad thing because it primes you well for the magnificence of Machu Picchu. Our room was clean and secure and gave us everything we needed. The bed was...

We had a night here after walking the Inca Trail and going back up to Machu Picchu next morning. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony facing the courtyard, so we had great light and a place to dry all our wet gear! The shower was great, although our companions on the ground floor, who also had...

I stayed at the Inti Winaywayna hotel for one night last week and had a great experience. Once I made the booking, I received an email thanking me for choosing the hotel and requested my arrival information to schedule someone to meet me. Sure enough when my train arrived standing outside the train gate was a hotel representative holding a...

Stayed one night here. We'd got the train from Cusco in the morning and were going to Machu Picchu the following morning so had some time to look round the town and visit the hot springs. Other than the shuttle buses and the train getting you there, there is no public transport here. Don't forget it is in the jungle...

It's not a fancy hotel. But it is clean and our room was quiet. Some reviews had complained about the bedding. Our rooms and the other rooms I saw had new bedding and it was bright white and clean. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Good shower pressure and a nice view as well. If I were to...

We were here for one night. After reading reviews saying interior rooms might be damp, we requested a room with a window to the outside. The one we got was on a public square and so both a bit loud and a bit bright at night, but it was also clean and comfortable. (And we were exhausted, so one night...

We stayed one night before visiting Machi Picchu early in the morning. My impression is that none of the AC hotels are really worth writing home about. This one was fine. The service is excellent - the people friendly and accommodating. The room, on the other hand, was on an inner stairwell and a bit damp/cramped. It was perfectly clean,...

Located up the hill, close to the Springs. Easy walk from the train station. Clean and spacious room, with comfy beds that had nice thick duvets. We has a 4th floor room, which had a balcony overlooking a square, which was well used. Be sure to bring your earplugs and eyemask. Loads of restuarants and cafes close by. Aguas Calientes...

We were very pleased with the hotel. 24 hour hot water very quite location and wonderful breakfast that included hot items. Also the spa downstairs was wonderful 60 min massage for $20 USD. The...
