I think a lot of the other reviews capture a lot of the positive and negative points about this hotel. Pros Central location Excellent service from reception, bar staff, breakfast and room cleaning Large room with balcony Great value Good level of choice at breakfast and topped up regularly Cons Didn't seem to have control of air conditioning at room level so although the temperature was OK it would have been nice to set this Fridge in room but not working Some people would tire of the breakfast as it doesn't have the range that very large hotels might have People on half board were moaning about the size and quality of the dinners - would recommend bed and breakfast Pool area was a bit small if that's what you are here for There looked to be fancier hotels especially in less central locations so I think the trip advisor rating reflects popularity rather than standard if that makes sense No secured luggage area (but they will hold it for you in the corridor) Poor coffee at breakfast - need to upgrade the machine

Me and hubby stayed beginning of September for 11 nites. Staff very lovely and attentive, room spotless and roomy, bathroom fine. We only had breakfast which was fine for us, the usual hams, cereals, cheese and lots of fruit. Pastries and cakes and the hot food mainly eggs and different sausages. I was happy there was a toaster. A few comments from other people saying the breakfast was bland but while we were having breakfast most people’s plates were piled high so it can’t have been that bland ! The hotel just a 10 min walk to the beach and centre and further 10 mins walk to the old town which was lovely. There were only 5 sun beds by the small pool but we mainly went to the beach, only once after a cloudy morning and after a walk around Budva we came back to the hotel just as the sun came out so went by the pool and we were the only ones there. We went to Kotor and sveti Stefan by local bus and had a great time, so easy to use bus and bus station only 10 mins from hotel. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay here again.

Not worthy of 4 stars. Pros. Lovely big bedroom. Quiet. Slept well all week. Modern hotel. Very clean and staff were lovely. Cons. Poor location in residential street. Food was bland, boring, repetitive, and deceiving images on Instagram

Though unassumingly set in a quiet backstreet, the Kadmo is a splendid little hotel with great facilities and a warm and welcoming family atmosphere. The rooms and public areas are attractive and spotlessly clean and there is a good elevated swimming pool. Special credit to all the staff for their dedication and helpfulness. An ideal choice for Montenegran hospitality.

I don't recommend this hotel. Although the room was tidy and cleaned every day, breakfast and dinner were extremely poor and repetitive. For breakfast every day eggs, sausages, which I don't eat, the choice is minimal, there is no fruit. Don't expect a buffet for dinner, you can choose 3 dishes from the menu (salad, soup and main). Portions are so small that even I, a girl, could not eat, let alone a man. The hotel needs to pay attention to the catering, because if this continues, no one will take this service. We were disappointed and felt hungry every day, so we went to nearby restaurants for extra food. I add one photo of the dinner meal (it looks terrible, only cabbage leaves :D)

We visited in august for a summer break, we arrived and the staff were nice and friendly. We wanted to go to the pool but there was only 5 sun-loungers for the whole hotel which was disappointing. Regarding the bar/breakfast/reception area it was clean but lacked atmosphere there was no music in the area felt quite clinical. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, we stopped 3 in a room. The 3rd bed was a converted chair/sofa which was hard and uncomfortable. The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast, as limited options and slow on replenishing and wasn’t the tastiest. Overall, I think the hotel was clean, tidy and adequate but lacked something to not make me come back.

Lovely hotel big clean and comfortable rooms staff are amazing very friendly and welcoming. We did half board but would probably recommend b&b as food was bland and repetitive that is my only criticism of the hotel. It is in a good quiet location as Budva is a very busy resort. The beaches nearby aren’t great all stony and very busy I would recommend maybe hiring a car which we didn’t as I think there are some better ones further out.

the hotel looks very nice, neat and cozy. the room is large and the location is very convenient, not far away from the beach and the old town, but still in quiet area. in the room facilities for tea and coffee, but no materials. thats why i don't rate this hotel as excellent.
