With wife we spent New Year holidays in Budva and stayed in Hotel Adria. We chose this hotel after checking reviews and must say was a best decision to choose Hotel Adria. Great central location (few steps to the beach promenade and easy walk to the old part of the city). Great hotel (spacious and clean rooms, superb service and perfect breakfast). So, I highly recommend Hotel Adria for your stay in Budva.
Stayed a night here. As part of a tour group we checked in late evening & had to wait to take a lift up. I needed to use the washroom urgently. Since the checkin not done yet, asked the reception staff where the ladies was, she rudely said it’s closed for work, without directing me elsewhere. Lucky my tour guide knew the place & showed me another washroom near the dining area, located just behind the front desk. Disappointed with her attitude. My Room & Bathroom was good. Very limited choice dinner, portions were small & replenishing was slow. Breakfast was good. Overall good hotel but rude staff.
The location of this hotel is good as it is close to the beach & located in a shopping center complex. Room - good and well equipped with the required amenities. Slightly small but is adequate. Bed - soft & comfortable Bath & toilet - shower works well. There is also a bidet provided. TV - works well with quite a number of English channels. Breakfast - excellent with a good spread of food from eggs, ham, bacon, yogurts, salads, etc. Dinner - we had a buffet dinner here as well but we found the variety limited. Service - could be improved. But overall a good hotel in Budva.
On arrival we got a friendly welcome and told we had an upgrade to a family room which was huge. Big balcony, big wardrobe and a huge comfy bed. The bathroom was large with wonderful underfloor heating. Breakfast was included and this was a pretty good range of cereals, cakes and hot food. Staff were really helpful with advice on where to go in the surrounding area. The shopping mall could be accessed from the hotel, great to spend our first day when it poured with rain. My only criticisms was that the hotel bar shut around 10pm - we came back for a nightcap to sit on the rooftop terrace but were disappointed. The hotel advertise two jacuzzis which are on the roof terrace though one had green algae around the jets and did not appear to be covered when not in use and we decided not to chance using. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay, well located near the promenade and restaurants.…
We lived 7 days in Adria during our holidays. We were 3 adults so we were afraid how we will fit in one room, but we got hudge Standard room. So we were very happy. Room and all hotel looks stylish, very clean. Personal is very polite and helpfull. Great food, even variaty is not very big. Hotel is not far from the beach, maybe 5 min walk. Till Budva old town is about 10min walk, but you can walk throug promenad or by the cost, so its very nice. Hotel is close to the main street there all night clubs are located. It can be a bit noise till midnigh, but as we do not like silence life - it did not bother us. For sure we would come back to this hotel.
Hotel in a central location, room excellent and spacious with mini bar, walk in shower, lift to all floors, Food in restaurant very poor, on arrival our first evening meal was very substandard on what you would exspect on a holiday that you book with Tui all hot food was cold little choice apart from a basic salad bar one desert plus a small selection of cheese, at this point we decided not to have any more evening meals in the restaurant. The breakfast was not much better but decided to persevere with it despite the mash potatoes one morning and fish fingers another morning one morning a little bit of cremated bacon appeared to suppliment the hard boiled eggs not sure what some of the other food was but to my surprise on the forth morning the waiter came up and asked me would i like bacon and eggs which i gratefully accepted and it was good. On a number of ocassions all the tables in the resaurant were reserved for other tour operators and half way through the week the bar manager announced that the bar was closing at 2200hrs rather than 2300hrs. Whilst this review may reflect on the hotel the responsabilty rest's firmly with Tui for not ensuring that the hotel understand what British tourist require. I must point out that i logged a complaint with the Tui represenative the day after our arrival this is now in the proscess of being resolved.…
Stayed here with my partner mid-September for one week. We booked through TUI. We booked bed, breakfast and evening dinner. On arrival we received a free upgrade to a very nice room. First day in the restaurant was a little bit of a shock. I wasn't expecting a full English fry-up but perhaps something slightly more edible and inviting than battered onion rings and steamed muesli. Anyway after some discussion with the management the food situation was sorted and all was well again. The hotel is very well presented, very clean and in an excellent location. The staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. In particular the Bar Manager and Igor were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure your stay was great. Reception staff were extremely helpful and arranged for us to have a complimentary late check-out on our last day. The hotel displays a selection of local artists work which is really interesting to see. We had originally booked via TUI in a different hotel but 2 weeks before our holiday TUI cancelled our flight so the Adria was a last minute choice. However, I wouldn't hesitate stopping here again and am really glad that the first hotel wasn't available for us. The bar does close between 10pm and 11pm which may be a problem for some but there are so many beautiful places to have a drink by the water that my partner and me didn't find this a problem. Bars and restaurants are open late, and by that I mean still letting people in at 10.30pm but when you are on holiday you don't want to rush so this was brilliant for us. I think the bar at the hotel closes a little early so as not to cause any disruption to guests which is fair enough and bearing in mind there are so many bars around that stop open late. There are plenty of super markets as well so if you want a drink in your room there is nothing holding you back. My partner and me absolutely loved the Adria and Budva and are already talking about going back.…
Me and my partner stayed here for 1 week my partner previously requested a ground floor room on our arrival we was upgraded free of charge to a super deluxe room. The room was clean and very spacious slept 5 people 2 TVs kitchen area and 2 fridges large bathroom. Breakfast and dinner was a very good selection I usually would opt for omelette for breakfast with side portion of bacon most days. The staff are super friendly and very attentive the bar manager was such a warm and lovely chap always made you feel very welcome and igor the waiter was super always made sure you had everything you needed with a smile. The beach and shops are 5 mins away the cafe bar over the road we found food with good prices. We asked for a late checkout last day of our holiday and we got to check out 1pm free of charge. Overall experience is most probably the best stay I’ve had in a hotel for a long time and can not wait to come back Thankyou ADRIA for making our holiday very special …
We loved every bit of our stay: the staff is super helpful, breakfast is excellent (express omelet is a great bonus), rooms are huge and the bathroom has a Bidet!!! This is the maximum level of civilization for us Italians😁. Add that the hotel is at walking distance from the promenade and the Old Town to complete the excellent review. No doubt about naming Adria as the best possible stay here in Budva!
This stay was nothing short but perfect. The hotel staff is very accommodating and the rooms are huge with amazing views. The reception staff is great and they gave us excellent suggestions on what places to visit. I hope we are able to come here again sometime soon!
