The only good thing about Vila Stari grad is its location. And that is about it. Hosts are terrible. Our apartment hasn’t been cleaned not once in 7 days. We asked the owner to at least take the garbage out the apartment after 4 days and she was very upset and even hostile. We didn’t get clean towels on daily basis as they said that they are providing, only when we were asking for it, and yes the owner was rude again. Furthermore we didn’t have wifi, the message we got on our phones was that there is no wifi or internet because the bill from last month wasn’t paid. So no internet. So spare yourself stress while on vacation, you do not want to interact with such people, and yes I assume you would like to have your apartment cleaned, fresh towels and wifi since you paid for it.

We only stayed 1 night but the 2 bedroom apartment was spacious but a bit bland, nothing homely about it sadly. The street outside is beautiful and quaint, it should incorporate more original features. The bathroom was interesting - shower was very small and drained very slowly so you ended up standing in a puddle. Check-in was relatively straight forward once we’d found the right person. Herceg-Novi was lovely and well worth visiting but only for 1 night. The a/c worked really well but there was already flies in the room so we got bitten to death.

Vi had booked a room with a balcony because we saw all the nice pictures with ocean view and with view of the city. When we arrived we were then put in a room on the first floor with absolutely no windows. We did have a balcony but there were trees growing literally right outside so it wasn't possible to see anything at all. It was a good location but i would not recommend this.

This is a nice little guesthouse in the old town. We had a top floor room with a balcony and the views were amazing. The staff were very attentive and helped us with a parking issue. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.

The building contains several appartments, without a reception desk. You have to fix in advance the time of arrival, so somebody will be waiting for you at the entrance (in my case was the cleaning lady). I was given a small and dark room in the 1st floor, by the side of the road. The season when I travelled was not a turistic one, so there wasn´t much noise in the street but I can imagine it will be noisy during the high season to be in this room. The room was small, with electric kettle, good bed, TV, fridge and towels. No soap. There was good heating. The best of this place is that you are located in the Old Town and it´s good if you don´t travel with a lot of time to stay in the city and you want to get a glimpse of it.The price is because of its location.
