This accomodation is for people, who manages by themselves and don't mind about the small things. Great value for money and sunny terrace. We had small apartment, not for spending time for, but good for living every day. Very kind host, thank you. Recommodations!

This place is so far from being professional. The owner is a very strange man. We went there directly and didnt book online. Bu we checked the price on booking.com of course which was 24 euro. When we arrive there he said the room is 30 euro and tried to oevercharge us. But I said it is 24 euro on booking.com. Then he said that's okay then 25 for you but he got angry with me since I didnt accept being oevercharged. Also,he said check out time 10 am but u dont need to hurry take your time. Then, the day after he knocked the door to say I want u to leave in ten minutes. What? 🙄 After we checked out, just because I used the toilet he told me off and said why do u use toilet without asking... which all made me feel very uncomfortable. The room, kitchen, balcony, batrhrooms are clean and nice but I didnt feel welcomed at all because of the owner. He is so weird!!!

Response from Gligo Tomanovic, Owner at Guest House Tomanovic
Responded 15 Nov 2020
This person tried to blackmailed us with bed reviews if she didn’t get a discount for her and her boyfriend stay. They didn’t have any reservation nor they had contacted us ever before. Simply she and her boyfriend appeared at our guest house claiming that she wanted a price she allegedly saw on booking.com. As we refused to provide that price she started to threaten with the bed review. As we wanted to calm down the situation we accepted her conditions regarding price, but that was not the end. Next day she decided to stay longer in the room, far beyond check-out time. We have decided to tolerate this behavior hoping that they will finally go away. The major problem in fact came to be after we found out that she secretly used private toilette long after her check-out. She was not paying attention to manager’s warnings not to do so. By doing so she was endangering safety and commodity of other guest. That kind of behavior just could not be tolerated any more so the manager got really harsh on her, but in return she again repeated threats with bad reviews ect. Finally she went away. Our impression was that she was on some kind of drogues, because normal person would not behave like that.

We were spending few nights. Apartment was clean and really good. View to the sea is good and location is perfect - not right next to the beach but a short walking distance. Service is the most amazing - good tips, trustworthy and really friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here for a week and felt very welcome from the first minute. Guest house is very close to the bus station that also has a Sixt car rental which we used to get a car to explore the area. Only a short walk to the beach where we got a few awesome sunset photos. There is a nice mountain path close for a hike and more nice views. Our host deserves an extra mention for his kindness. If you like sea, mountains and off season travelling without crowds, this is your place.

Beautiful little apartment with balcony overlooking the bay. Big sunny bedroom with parquet floor. Air conditioning. Well-equipped kitchen and a little bathroom. Conveniently located near to the bus station and the old town, a few minutes from the beach, good resturants and local supermarkets. Great base for exploring the area. Would highly recommend it!

Due to infrequent bus connections between Kotor and Dubrovnik in the month of March 2015, my partner and I stayed overnight in Guest house tomanovic in Herceg-Novi as a stopover. PROS VALUE – It only cost 30 euro’s a night for a room which featured an ensute and small functional kitchenette. I suspect if you stayed here longer the kitchenette would’ve come in handy, as it would’ve allowed you to cook for yourself to limit the cost of eating out. LOCATION – It is located 450m from the Herceg Novi bus station so only takes 5 minutes to walk there, making it ideal for stopovers. HOT WATER – Worked WIFI – Worked SERVICE – The gentlemen we spoke to was friendly and very helpful which we appreciated at 2000 at night. He spoke perfect English and was able to direct us to nearby restaurants. I believe bike hire and laundry services are offered to guests. CONS - The rooms and the décor are very basic and horribly outdated but clean and comfortable CONCLUSION It was adequate for an overnight stay but I would only be recommending it to easy going budget travellers for longer than this.

After seeing so many accommodations not prepared for winter or with endless stairs on top of hills, I was happy to find this place. They have heating, which means staying here is not only for the Summer and also, they're located just 5 mins walk on the same street of the bus station (main road). Immediately after I'd booked online, the owner, Gligo, sent me an email with directions. During my 4 days stay he was always very kind, helping me with the tips about the town and the region. I'd be glad to come back in the Summer. And I've found Herced Novi much better place to stay than Kotor.

The guest house is a short 5 minute walk from the Herceg Novi bus station. Our room had a balcony and beautiful ocean view. The room was very clean and comfortable, having AC at this price was also a real bonus. There is also a communal kitchen should you wish to self cater. The owner Gligo (who speaks perfect English) was very friendly and spent some time giving us information about the area, what to see, where to eat etc. He also did a load of laundry for us for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Tomanovic Guest House, it offers amazing value for money and excellent all round.

Guest house Tomanovic situated short walk from old town and beach. With free parking and wifi. Rooms are not too large, but this is ok. They have common balcony with nice garden and sea views. Owner is nice person ready to help and advice. We were staying two nights in the end of October. Overall, accomodation is decent. It would be suitable for those who like to stay few nights in Herzeg Novi.
