This Hotel was really nice. For that price service was great. Food was awesome, and different every day . People who work there are friendly and always on service. Clean rooms and hotel. Only thing I didnt like is that my room was without sunlight so it was really cold( even if is outside 30C) And they could work on Wellnes centar to be cleaner. To wrap the review : I WOULD COME AGAIN♥️

Great Location with private beach and pool. Free parking. Rooms were large with nice balcony over looking the bay. Great shower. Breakfast was only average. No snacks available at the pool bar. I would return.

The location of the hotel is very good, right on the seafront, with a spectacular view! The pool is very good water, at the beginning of September you could bathe without problems. The garden is beautiful, but not very well maintained. The resort is composed of the main hotel, which can have 4 star conditions, and several villas with apartments. We were accommodated in an apartment in a villa that had a bedroom, living room, bathroom, balcony. The conditions were 2 stars. Unroomed rooms, bathroom with shower, cleanliness is desirable and vegetation around the balcony unattended. Very many mosquitoes, lizards and spiders due to the unkempt vegetation. The food was good, the breakfast rich, but the staff was unfriendly. The hotel has its own cement beach equipped with loungers that you do not have to pay. The sea water is very good, clean, but you enter it like the pool on stairs specially arranged because it is deep, over 2 meters. There are areas near the gravel beach where the water gradually sinks and children can enter without concern. The area is very beautiful!

Great self-service breakfast and dinner, kind staff. Horrible parking - on the basketball field where children every day plays basketball. Hotel beach not appropriate for small children's - only deep sea.

I stayed here for two nights. The rooms are mostly good. The location is great, right on the water and a 10 minute walk to the old town. Like a lot of things in Montenegro, little things are sometimes not attended to, but people are nice and helpful. Breakfast is mostly good, but they can’t keep up with the large crowds sometimes.

Just North of the center of town on the hill overlooking the bay, and reaching all the way to the water, this place has various accommodations. From bungalow to high rise they have it all. The rooms were all modern and comfortable but the area around is a little dated. There are a lot of stairs and most without handrails. The buffet dinner and breakfast is a very good deal and had a lot of local and international choices.

While I cannot vouch for what Hunguest might be like in season. our visit to it shortly after the close of the season in September was perfect. We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff, who not only outlined the resort offerings, but gave excellent advice for exploring Herceg-Novi. The rooms were clean and spacious. Wifi was excellent. The beach attached to the hotel was also delightful. The breakfast was OK, but not dazzling -- as one often finds at a larger resort. Many people don't seek out great bargains like Hunguest (and Herceg-Novi) in early September, when the weather is still wonderful and the water warm. Our stay convinced us that September is a marvelous time to visit this city and stay at this hotel,

We stayed here four nights in August (height of tourist season). It was actually a business trip for one of us, and the hotel stay was arranged and paid for not by us - so the price/value isn't a factor in our review. First off, staff are fantastic - very helpful, friendly and most spoke excellent English. They were the high point of our stay! Other pluses to this property are the location if you would like to be right on the main pedestrian drag and near restaurants and the concrete beach that a lot of people seemed to enjoy sunbathing on. The pool and sauna areas, while we didn't use them, looked nice. Breakfast had a wide variety of items with fruit, cereals, yogurts, salad, eggs, etc. The outdoor breakfast area was quite nice if you caught it during a lull in the hungry hordes. The property felt very safe. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they weren't the worst we've ever experienced, either. Rooms have a large mini fridge in them. It was very hot during our stay, and the AC kept up nicely. The views from our room were really lovely! What we didn't like about this property are what dragged the overall rating down for us. First off, the wifi, was ***horrible** - it would be okay just randomly and just good enough that you kept holding out hope it would stay like that for three more minutes, which it never did. It was bad in the rooms, it was bad at the reception desk, it was bad outside right next to the router-looking thingies, and, judging from the number of people randomly waving their phones around on the property, bad for everyone. We finally ended up just going to cafes to save ourselves the frustration. The rooms are incredibly dated and not well maintained. Mold and mildew covered the grout in the teeny shower; the crooked toilet paper holder was half attached to the wall and kept dropping the toilet paper on to the floor (minor annoyance of the "seriously?" kind after four days), the pillows were old, thin and lumpy; no toiletries except for big dispensers of soap and shampoo; no kleenex. There was a safe but it was super small and it malfunctioned once so we had to get maintenance to open it for us. The AC was working hard but it smelled like it was pumping a lot of suspect things into our lungs. :( Breakfast was a zoo in the mornings, and the quality was hit or miss, particularly with the coffee, which was consistently a miss (you can pay extra to have them make a latte or espresso for you, though - and those were good.) A lot of these things seem like they could be fixed if the property owners cared to invest some money into upkeep, but apparently that is not high on their list. So, all in all, except for staff, we weren't impressed; however, we could see it being a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who want to stay in a safe place with a nice pool and be close to the water and a lot of restaurants.

While not the 4 star facility they claim it is not to bad for the value. The buffet food is good quality and constantly being filled. Cost of drinks in the bar are reasonable, about $3.50 for a large draft beer. Large pool and beach area, the "beach" is actually a seawall with steps access to the bay, water depth was about 3-4 meters at the end of the steps and rapidly deepens. Large roped off swim area in the bay. We booked a villa and on arrival was given a standard room for 3 people, the staff were very helpful in resolving this issue and also helping with local tours. The villa is a bedroom, queen size, with no door, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a bath with shower only, there is also a small deck/patio area. The room could have been cleaned better and it shows it's age or much use, but overall was decent. They offer many activities to entertain guess.
