Spent a week in Montenegro and this was by far our favourite place. Perast itself is stunning. Peaceful and serene. Like living in a picture postcard. The hotel is of a great finish with epic views from the sun deck out front. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and fresh. The rooms are modern yet, comfortable and the spa is great for a break before dinner. But what makes this place is the staff. Marko and his team were hospitable and welcoming from the off. The rest of the hotel staff cannot do enough for you, bending over backwards to ensure you have the best time. We had a small issue with a road closure on the day of our departure meaning we couldn’t return our hire car. They jumped in to action resolving the whole thing for us, totally turning around a potentially stressful situation. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and despite being lovely never wanted to return, we are already looking at dates to rebook for Heritage Grand Perast. The views, the facilities but mostly the team who work there are all amazing, little touches like remembering small details about what we liked and that it was our anniversary was really nice, lovely friendly knowledgeable people who seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. Thanks for a wonderful trip we made many memories, we will be back! Highly recommend going out of season, but we were very lucky with the weather

Stayed here as the pictures were convincing but the location isn't great at all - takes over an hour from the airport in Tivat to get here with horrendous traffic and there's no beach... constant traffic and honking in front of the room and then they misplaced our luggage and it couldn't be located for hours. Not recommendable...

Great hotel, great people! All extremely helpful and kind! The rooms, the spa, the view, the food, the hotel manager who gave us helpful tips for restaurants and the right places to visit, we could not have had a better time thanks to all these people !!

We loved our stay at Grand Perast hotel. It's a beautiful building and we were given a room in the castle section looking out over the water and the terrace. We took full advantage of the facilities using the pool and sauna, getting massages, arranging for a boat ride through the concierge. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight and the waitstaff provided great service. We were at the hotel at the end of a long trip and it was a great way to relax and unwind before heading home. We highly recommend this hotel to others.

Please check your bills and don't sign anything without properly scrutinizing them. I had a 350 euro boat trip added to my room bill and a 100 euro added to a lunch bill. Really put me off the hotel and left me disappointed with my overall experience.

We had excellent communication with the hotel before arrival to let us know where to park. Perast doesn't allow tourist traffic (which is a good thing) so you park your car just on the edge of the village and then call the hotel and in two minutes you have a golf buggy to pick you and the luggage up. Car kept safe for whole stay. Welcome was friendly and given a cold towel and welcome drink. Our room was standard with a side view of pretty alleyway and was beautiful, we didn't need sea view we were out all day! It was spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings and all the comforts you needed. Yes, bed was a bit hard but difficult to please everyones different tastes. We were there towards end of September and had beautiful weather, the sun deck was fabulous, comfy lots of towels and very quiet, no trouble getting a lounger at all in fact sometimes only a couple were taken. Outdoor pool very cold, we did have a bracing sea swim (no smell mentioned in other reviews). Breakfast was plentiful and the waitress was just so lovely, amazing view out over the bay perfect way to start the day. The hotel itself is grand and everyone stops to look at it, take a photo and admire the entrance and sundeck area, we felt very privileged to stay there. You can see it is very well taken care off and the staff proud to work there. The large indoor pool and spa are lovely, we had it to ourselves some evenings. We didn't eat at the hotel as we like to go out and explore and eat somewhere different. Lots of choice in Perast on your doorstep. There are huge amounts of visitors to Perast each day taking a boat to the islands, so go out before and after they arrive and enjoy this stunning bay. We were there for four days but absolutely could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and Perast, we travelled about and this was definitely our favourite place.…

The most wonderful experience. My first time to travel solo and I couldn’t of wished for a better location . The hotel is stunning and the staff are genuinely lovely . The facilities are certainly 5 star . I know there’s some commentary on prices but I truly believe you get what you pay for . The waterfront deck is brilliant and the breakfast terrace looking out on the bay made the stay so memorable . I will definitely visit again . Special mention to Andjela the waitress who was so lovely to everyone and my transfer back to the airport with the security manager , great conversation. Thank you for such a memorable stay .

We spent 11 days at this hotel, it was lovely, spacious and very clean, the hospitality was excellent. However, the bed was a bit hard, and I didn't sleep well, there was no sea view, but that is evitable as we didn't pay extra for that. We went out to the various restaurants down by the sea front, we enjoyed sampling variety of food, our favorite was the pizza place. Went out on a boat trip and caught the bus to various places; we couldn't just simply stay at the same resort all week; it was rather a small place and not much to do. I didn't try out swimming in the sea or the small outdoors swimming pool, mainly cos the pool water was cold, and I didn't want to take the chance with the sewage in the sea which we have heard about. I did swim in the indoors pool though, which was nice, it was raining on the day, it was handy. Thank you for making our holiday a worthwhile experience.…
