The hotel is situated about 15 mins drive from the centre, so not an ideal location, but the stay itself was good. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room and Swedish table style breakfast to satisfy any picky eaters. Parking outside the hotel, busses going to town.
If you need taxi in Podgorica download this app ,,Nas Taxi'' which is the local an official taxi company and will cost you half price to any other companies.

On suterday,19th august(a week ago) i ordered a night in this hotel.Short drive from podgorica airport (15 min.).The regeving of the room was quick and welcoming. The room was in normal size, clean but the walls are thin and we could hear noises of songs and laugh from other rooms. The restorant was good and the prices are low.(normally in montenegro)

The hotel is well out of town, however as there's very little to commend the town that didn't turn out to be a problem. It was clean, but despite the no smoking notices, still smelt of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was a limited. However the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly.
Unless you have to visit Podgorica I wouldn't recommend the place.

This hotel is on the road to/from Cetinje and the road noise is quite loud with the windows open. Our air conditioner decided not to work during the night. Breakfast is adequate but the coffee is the second worst so far in Montenegro. The rooms are old but reasonably well kept. No toiletries but pump soap supplied. Beware there are no self serve/coin laundries to be found in Podgirica. Even though this hotel said we couold do our own laundry there, we foud out otherwise on check in.

We stayed at Philia hotel at the beginning of November for 3 nights. We booked a triple room for 2 parents and a child. The hotel is not in the best location (not tourist area) although it is 15 min drive from the airport. The hotel is very small, no lobby area, only reception and corridors leading to rooms The room was really nice, spacious and clean. Receptionists were helpful. As we stayed there in November which is not the season time, the hotel was very quite and empty. We had half-board. Breakfast buffet and a la carte dinner. As only a few people were staying at the hotel at that time, breakfast buffet was not as rich as it is normally at 4 star hotels we stayed before but maybe it was because the hotel was nearly empty. Dinner was very basic. I think breakfast option would work better than half-board. Generally, nice stay but there is a room for improvements.

The hotel is really nice and small enough to enjoy the stay without any busy tourist traffic during the breakfast or during the check in or check out.

I have been many times in this hotel and always enjoyed the stay. I got always rooms at the last, third floor. The best view to mountain you have if you can get rooms with a view to Podgorica.

Room had everything for a comfortable stay. TV, radio, mini-bar, hair-dryer. If you need something you can ask very friendly staff.

During my last visit I got a room with a strange smell in the bathroom. At the next day I asked for a help and they friendly gave me another room which was perfect.

In this way I suggest room in the third floor and to check first if everything is ok in your room.

Breakfast is really reach for such a hotel and you could ask for another things if you like, but there were so many very good domestic dishes.

On the twentieth of August 2015 we stayed at your hotel for a night. Although the luck of elevator was an inconvenience, the service of your staff was very much appreciated by all members of our group. İt won’t be an exageration should we say that we have never seen such nice and service eager persons like you. We wish your hotel a productive business. After all, we won’t miss the opportunity to rate our lovely experience in Hotel Philia on tour guiding websites and suggest our friends to chose you in Crna Gora. Lovely city to see; Podgorica, and a peaceful place to stay; Hotel Philia, we wish we can be together with you again in next year!

Hotel Philia Podgorica is one of the best places to stay in area. Well positioned on the main road to Cetinje and Budva. Friendly and charming staff, very clean and spacious rooms and other areas in hotel, good restaurant with freshly prepared food, nice and tidy gardens. Great value for money. Will use again. 100%.

We were advised by Best Western reception to go to hotel Phillia and are grateful. The hotel was great value for money with the helpful and charming staff they keep as Anna, Dechen and Dragon. The rooms are clean and well checked for the upkeep in the right hours without disturbing the client. Being a travel agent myself, I adored this important touch since even in 5 star hotels, they knock your doors at the wrong hours and disturb:) So, a great point for that! The hotel its parking lot and my 78 year old mum very comfortably walked to her room since there are no stairs to the entrance:) You are not a room number but a personality in this hotel. Since I do not eat pork being muslim, I adored the delicious salami of the breakfast but couldn’t eat:( If I have to make a negative remark, the only one is that the coffee in the morning served at breakfast could be enhanced by the use of good drinking water. But, if you requet, they make you great espresso anyway, so not a big deal. Will definitely stay again if i visit Podgorica in future.
