I stayed in Evropa Hotel for 6 nights altogether: 4 nights before and 2 after my trip to Kotor. This hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the railway and bus stations, and that was especially convenient for my daily train and bus trips from Podgorica to Ostrog, Nikšić, Skadar Lake and Bar. My single room was relatively small, but it was equipped with an air conditioner and a refrigerator: it was of primary importance, since outdoor temperature during my stay was around +30o - +32o C. Buffet breakfast was abundant: 4 types of ham, 3 types of cheese, fried eggs, sausage, melon, water melon, apples, peaches and a lot of other stuff. I especially highly appreciated welcoming and amicable receptionists. They all spoke good English, and one of them had profound knowledge of Montenegrin history. His advice was very useful and valuable. I would be pleased to recommend this hotel for visits to Podgorica and nearby places.…
Location was great, nothing better than the hotel right in front of the train station when you arrive late at night. The restaurant downstairs is also very good and they serve big portions. The room is small but it's nice.
I like this hotel because it is easy to park my rental car and not far to the airport. The room I got was good and clean and I really appreciate the heater in the room since it was very cold in the night. The wifi was very fast and everything in the room worked nicely. The improvement that could be made is the food in the restaurant. I ordered the hamburger and I got a piece of meat in a baguette bread. Not what I expected. Also, just before I left the hotel the next morning, the restaurant staff saw me walked to my rental car to put in my bags, which I parked in front of the hotel and then took my camera out and walked away from the car to take a picture of the hotel. They must be thinking that I was NOT a hotel guest and just parked my car at the hotel so they shouted at me (in local language, which I didn't understood). But then they saw me take picture and walked to the car again so they disappeared back into the hotel restaurant. I just want to say that they should wait and see if the car belongs to the hotel guest or not before starting to shout and maybe risking to insult the guest. That's my point.…
Room quite cramped but adequate for a solo traveller. My double room would have been positively claustrophobic with another person in it. Fittings slightly worn but everything was clean and in working order. Not advised for anyone mobility-challenged. Decent breakfast buffet included in the price. Very handy location for the long-distance bus station, there is a little noise from trains. Possible to walk to the town centre if you like walking as I do. Friendly staff with adequate English.
This hotel is located right next to the rail and bus station so is very convenient location for a stop over. It's about 25 minutes walk into the main city centre. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming. They always greeted us with a smile. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.
Nice hotel, nice spacious rooms, lovely breakfast, with big selection, close to railway station, but the area is bad, hardly any lights, narrow alleys. There are many steps leading to the room (no elevator).
A stones throw from Podgorica railway station which makes it very handy. This means it is a bit of a walk into town. However, the taxi service is prompt, reliable and good value for money. Our rooms were ready by midday, so checked in quite early. Receptionist, spoke very good English. Rooms are small but are adequate for the rate paid. Clean and tidy. There was a lot of noise during the night. I put this down to the Russian Jitsu team in town and staying at the hotel. I paid the small fee when booking the room for breakfast. Although good value, the breakfast room is very small, the tables where the food is (serving eggs hams pancakes etc) could be set out more organised. I would recommend the hotel to anyone needing to be close to the railway station.
The staff is very friendly and the service is great. The rooms are big and very clean. This hotel is located just outside the city and as a restaurant downstairs. Only downside; located next to a railway station, so quite noisy (not for the light sleepers). During the night the staff was talking very loud, the were even louder then the trains ;-) All things beside, i would defenitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to my friends!
A nice hotel to stay in one night or two most of the staff are very nice and helpfull and the rooms are clean and cozy. But the hotel breakfast is not something I would recommend to anyone, as it mostly seems to consist of outdated food. I got sick and spent three days in bed after eating it. Also the staff came to our table several times asking if we had finished eating, as if they were in a rush to clean the place out, almost two hours before the time they were supposed to stop serving breakfast. Very annoying. So this is absolutley a hotel that I could recommend you to stay in as it is very clean, provides good rooms and service and is located close to downtown Podgorica. But avoid the Hotel food, you can get a really good meal at the local restaurants and avoid spending days in bed with a very unhappy stomach. …
The location is 5 minutes from the train and bus station. On a hot morning it was great having breakfast outside in the shade. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly; their English was very very good. The staff were knowledgeable about the town and the transport. Great value for money.
