The room itself was not large but practical and most important clean with a good bed. The small veranda in the garden touching the hill on the left side was a bonus. Especially because the monkey's come down from the hill being curious... The owner tried to scare them away, but we found them amusing.(If you don't leave food or...

It was perfect place to stay in Dambula as we wanted only to visit Dambula caves. It is a such nice green and quiet place. You are away from the street, but actually only like 10 -15 min walk if you want to go to buy something to eat or to drink. The caves really like 5 min walk. Also...

We only stayed here for one night but had a great experience anyway. The family lives in the house as well. We contacted then via email because on booking they were sold out and got a room without problems. The garden around the house is beautiful. Wifi is not perfect but that seems to the norm here. We can only...

I can recommend the Golden Rainbow Guesthouse. The room I got was downstairs, had A/C, fan and mosquito net, and an ensuite bath w/shower. The bed, floor, and bathroom were immaculately clean, and the shower (warm water at all times) one of the best I have had in Sri Lanka (although you will get half the bathroom wet when using...

Perfect hotel with a very kind owner who wants to pick you up with his Tustin for free. This is the quietest hotel around, you don't hear any cars and it's close to the tamale caves. The rooms are cheap (1800 roepies) very big, clean and with hot water

Perfect location surrounded by forest, chipmunks, monkeys and birds. Away from the main road but within walking distance from Dambulla city. Very close to the Golden Temple and the Cave Temples. Room is bright, clean and spacious. Shower and a/c are both good. Good wifi. Kumara is a great host, we were greeted with water and fresh fruit on arrival,...

Stayed at this lovely inn just for a night due to the fantastic location - 2 mins from the cave temple and 30 mins away from Sigiriya. The owner, Kumara, is very friendly and helpful, provided us with two very clean big rooms each with their own bathroom. Breakfast was really nice and he was happy to provide us an...
