We stayed for two nights at this place. It was very nice, you've good a nice view over the city from the balcony. Room was clean and comfty. You felt more like guests to the family of the "hotel manager" than being in a unpersonal hotel. He was very helpful even when we took over his kitchen for making dinner.... More

i stayed here for 2 nights after a long haul flight from the US. i couldn't have picked a better place to relax and beat the jet lag. Mahinda was such a gracious host and helped us with anything we needed. it is about a 15 minute walk into town and lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle.... More

The homestay is very nice, clean and comfortable. It sits up in the "mountain" over looking the town and the lake. It is walkable to and from the town (a tiny incline FYI) about a 15 minute walk or a very short inexpensive tuk tuk ride. The room is very spacious, has an amazing view and was very comfortable. access to this 03 Room Homestay is a little difficult, if you do not have your own transport, however the overall experience of our stay was great Felt we were home with Mahinda , his wife & Dinu taking such great care of our morning breakfasts, ensuring the rooms are tidy and also volunteering to bring us dinner from a... A shared balcony and lounge with amazing views. Well appointed rooms. Very clean comfortable and calm, away from the chaos of the wonderful town of Kandy. At the same time the lake is only a twenty minute walk away. With plenty of restaurants locally. And the famous temple is a ten minute three wheeler drive. The hill up to this... More

Kandy is a difficult town to review re accommodations...stay downtown for convenience, and it is crowded and noisy. Stay in the surrounding hills, and you will need a tuk-tuk to go anywhere (especially back up) 36 B&B is situated in the hills, about a 25 min walk down to the town. Plus notes: - view is very nice from 2... More

His bed and breakfast is situated up a hill from the Kandy main city. Probably wouldn't walk up it personally, but a Tuk Tuk ride up will only set you back 200rs (probably could do it for 150, but finding a Tuk Tuk driver that knows where it is was a bonus so we'd pay more and then call them... This B&B is on the hill opposite the Tooth Temple, giving amazing views of the city and the lake. Two of the rooms have balconies with views, but even if you don't have one of those there's a balcony off the living room which is great for sitting and watching the sunrise or having an evening meal. The rooms are... More

This was a real find. A short hop in a tuc tuc to the centre of Kandy. Clean and comfortable with fantastic views of the lake Nice helpful staff with fresh eggs for breakfast. They sorted out reasonable transport for us where we wanted to go. Quite close to Sharon Hotel which did great buffet dinners.

Chose this B+B as it was cheap but well reviewed. We were not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable with A/c and en suite. The photos don't really do it justice - everything clean and new. We had a small balcony too. The view over Kandy from the living room and bedroom were beautiful. The hosts were lovely, and... More
