Finding well priced accommodation in kandy during the perehera is tough and we were recommended this hotel for 2 adults 2 kids as somewhere that fit the bill. The location was good -up a hill not too far from the lake with parking for our driver. Tuk tuks back after evenings at the perehera were inexpensive though it was also...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room in August 2016. Room had two small double beds (135cm / 4'6"). Beds were comfortable and linen was clean. Simply furnished. Room was fairly clean. Bathroom had shower, toilet and sink. Again, mostly clean but on a close inspection could have done with a deep clean/refresh. No in-room safe, although...

We stayed one night at The Kandyan. It was 5 mnts drive away from the lake, large inner space than outer. We stayed in a triple room. It was nice , clean and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. We stayed two nights at Kandy Residence. When we arrived we got a friendly welcome with some nice cold juice, which was very nice after a long journey to Kandy. The room was big (we stayed 3 adults in a doubleroom) and clean. And the beds were really comfy. The view from our room was nice overlooking green hills. Breakfast...

This is a inexpensive hotel on a hill near the lake. You can take a tuk tuk to reach the lake. We were unhappy when we saw that from outside. but the rooms are good. We booked a family room, which was 2 floors down hanging in the hill :-) clean, neat and cosy. The hotel staff are very helpful...

Another stay at Kandy Residence and seriously, why stay anywhere else....we stay every year because I don't think I would get the same feeling of friendliness and helpfulness anywhere else. All the staff and the Owner of Kandy Residence go out of their way to make your stay happy and easy. The location is great, you are a 5 minute...

This was probably our most average hotel while holidaying in Sri Lanka this year. While all our needs were met it was probably a bit below the standard that we were used to in terms of location and decor/room appointments. The staff were friendly and helpful enough but it was a little bit out of the city of Kandy up...

We stayed for one night after refusing to be taken to another guesthouse that our driver wanted us to go to. The guesthouse is very quiet, up in the hills of Kandy. The staff were extremely polite and friendy. Room was clean and the view was great! Our only complaints are that the TV wasn't any good - poor signal...
