Large rooms here, but both the rooms and the hotel probably haven't been updated for 20 years. Noisy main road, plumbing leaking water all over the bathroom floor and nobody came in to clean the room during our entire stay. Breakfast was pretty good, as was the service but this didn't make up for the stated of the rooms or...

A late arrival in Kandy had us drive round the lake looking for a nice hotel. From the outside this looked great. Once we were shown our room it was a nightmare - like Fawlty Towers only worse. Disgustingly dirty bed sheets, carpet, ashtray with cigarette burnt holes, lights went off for 20 minutes and a poor lady walked through...

This hotel is located right beside the lake in Kandy and unlike many hotels is not at the top of a hill. You can tell that this was a beautiful hotel in its day and the rooms are large and have some interesting old furniture. However it has been deprived of love and attention and the rooms are musty. In...

Even though everything needed a little bit of an upgrade I fell in love with the history and charm of this magnificant old building. The staff did everything to make us feel wanted and nothing was a...

In the evening this would be one of the best place to enjoy the kandy secret temple and the view of the lake. From the road the hotel looks very nice. But when you enter the hotel you are not so impressed when you see the small reception. The rooms are really big. Toilets are clean. For meals we did...

The hotel is located in a place with a good view of the Kandy lake, which is one of the main attarctions in Kandy. When you view the hotel from the road it is very elegant. When you enter the reception area is very small. Lobby area is large but carpets need to be cleaned. Free wifi in rooms (My...
