Upon arrival in Kandy our driver took us to the Senani Hotel which was recommended by his boss. We had not researched the hotel and was not sure of the rates. The hotel looked old and tired. The room we were given was too small for 2 adults & 2 children. When the room fan was turned on it made...

This hotel is a little way out of town, which is a good thing. Down town Kandy gets quite noisy and crowded and this place is just a few minutes by Tuk Tuk. The views from many rooms and the restaurant are lovely. The hotel is built down the mountainside, so some rooms are a LONG way down - many...

We spent one night in the Senani during our tour of Sri Lanka. We were given a nice room on the top floor overlooking the hills of Kandy, probably on of the nicest rooms. The room was big enough with a balcony. The bathroom was OK, nothing to complain but could have been kept in slightly better conditions. The bathroom...

We checked in after a long winding drive uphill and were quite amused when we drove up to this little chalet kind of structure nestled in a sharp turn. But, this was one of our best stays in SL trip. The rooms are cozy, well provided, clean and provide a wonderful view of Kandy. The food was amazing with sufficient...

It was a good experience. Rooms were very small. But it is good enough if you are sleeping for a one night. We were at the very low level, the views are dark. And not much of a view. The hotel was fully booked so we were lucky to have a place to stay. It was wonderful interns of how...

We stayed there for 2 nights while we were seing Kandy. It lays a Little from centrum so you need a taxi or tuk tuk to come to the city, When you arrive it looks very nice but a lot of stairs to go to your room, and the rooms need to be cleaned. There was a lot of noise...

This hotel is truly lovely. Its position high up the hill overlooking Kandy is perfect. The hotel is modern beautifully clean and the rooms have every thing required except a fridge. This however we found to be the norm in the more budget hotels throughout Sri Lanka. Most rooms seem to have a small balcony from which to look down to...

No hot water for shower! Room was below restaurant, very noisy, could hear footsteps til late hours of the night and early morning. Construction work also very noisy. Restaurant allowed smokers which offended people that tried enjoying breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst sightseeing in Kandy. The hotel has an amazing view of the town thanks to its location up on the hill which is lovely when having meals in the restaurant. The rooms have very dated interior and our bathroom had no ventilation which created a lot of mould and we have complained to the...
